Robert was exceptionally professional and kind. He spent a lot of time planning and location scouting, and was very collaborative throughout the entire process. We love our wedding photos and wouldn't think twice about hiring him again.

My favorite part of my wedding were in front of Roberts camera with my husband Chris, and it’s not because I love my photo taken at all, it was because it was our moment to just be present with each other during this hectic yet beautiful day. Plus, I appreciate that Robert pushed me to take a break and relax when he saw how I was struggling and he gave me pointers how to wear my veil correctly! I was searching for a photographer that could capture emotion, Robert did this and so much more. He captured our entire wedding and all my guests couldn't believe how amazing our photos turned out. They shared it was like reliving the day all over again and so many asked how I had found him. He captured the moment, the emotion, and he created beautiful moments for us to be together. From pictures of all the decorations and flowers I spent so much time on, to the smiles and tears, our animals, the endless family and friends, and the pictures of us in beautiful settings he picked out where the sun hit the trees so beautifully behind us, and last but not least, him being a trooper walking to the creek to take shots of us dipping into the water, Robert captured it all so beautifully. He was perfect for our perfect day and I’m so grateful we found him. Thank you Robert! You’re truly a gifted and talented artist and you made our day full of moments together that were so special.

We had a great experience with Robert! The overall experience was smooth and professional. Every photographer's style will be subjective, so I suggest taking the time to look at portfolios to see what is right for you. Robert's style is unique and honestly some of the best work I've seen! Either way, I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to do a wedding in Sacramento, Bay Area, or Tahoe.

Robert Rule Photography provides excellent service. He captured all our wedding moments so beautifully! He caught special moments between my daughter(bride) and I (mom) that I will treasure forever. Photographs from the getting ready on the big day, to the wild dancing after the ceremony are phenomenal. He moved about the wedding without interruption, was personable, and had some great ideas for pictures with our entire guest group. We were most fortunate to have Robert memorialize this special day for us.

Robert was such an amazing addition to my wedding! I HATE having my picture taken, but he made it so easy to relax and enjoy my experience, there were times that I forgot he was even there and it made for some great candid surprises when I looked at my gallery. He captured every emotion and every moment I could have hoped for! He even took the time to take some wonderful pictures of my best friend and her newborn. The photographer she used after birth was horrendous compared to the shots Robert was able to take of her in such a short amount of time. she is so happy with the new pictures, she will be framing Roberts instead of the photographer she hired!

Rob was incredible from the start. Very professional and easy to work with. He's got a great bedside manner while dealing with the posed shots and he took a ton of really tasteful live-action shots while the band was playing. We now have amazing-looking memories forever. Rob is amazing and we're so glad we hired him to photograph our wedding! Rob feels like an old friend — he chauffeured us around, made us feel comfortable, and helped calm our pre-wedding jitters.
