I was married here in Sept 2017 and hadn't posted about it because I knew it wouldn't matter to Kathy and Dan but I would have picked a different location if someone had spoken up about their experience. Property and building are gorgeous, management/owners need improvement. Kathy didn't know what was going on during the planning leading up to the event. She snapped at the groom and groomsmen about using a golf cart on the day of the wedding. The food was served wrong; wrong time, wrong meals, staff was asking guests what they had ordered even though Kathy had been given clear direction on what each person wanted 3 times. I talked to Dan about the food being incorrect for the gluten free people and he argued with me about what food has gluten (I've been dealing with a gluten allergy for a decade) and everything he was saying was wrong and said they weren't going to do anything because the chef had already left. Kathy was rude and had a little too much to drink the day of the wedding as each time I talked to her you could smell the alcohol on her. My husband, groomsman and I had to move tables for the dance to begin because the staff wasn't doing it even though that was supposed to be part of the service they provided. Beautiful venue; terrible owners/management. This beautiful venue deserves better.
