I chose the Brielle River House for my wedding reception because it was exactly what I was looking for in a venue! The banquet room was gorgeous! There were spectacular views and enough room for all of my tables. Not to mention that their food is spectacular!
We got married in August 2017 and we worked closely with Gail and Maureen. They were ALWAYS so helpful! They worked so well with my other vendors as well. Anytime I had a question they responded right away and on the day of I was not stressed about anything at all! They took care of everything for me!
The service staff was amazing as well! I had quietly mentioned to my husband that I loved the mushrooms and wished I had more. A server had walked by and heard and brought me some more mushrooms and sauce, it was like magic! However, after talking to my guests it wasn't rare, there were a lot of stories of the service staff going out of their way to make my friends and family comfortable and happy!
The food was delicious! I had the Chicken Marsala, Roast Prime Rib, and the Norwegian Salmon and I still get compliments on how delicious they all were! The cocktail hour was spectacular and there was carved fruit which was a total surprise! Everything looked and tasted amazing!
The wedding package could not be beat! It included everything I wanted! My cake came from Chocolate Carousel and it was beautiful and delicious! We had an open premium bar with a signature drink, coffee, cookies, pastries, and table side wine service!
My wedding was a day I will never forget, it was a dream come true and a huge part of that was because of the Brielle River House!

I recently just had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Brielle River House on August 5th and me and my newly husband couldn't be happier. What a amazing experience from beginning to end. Gail and Maureen go far and beyond to meet our needs. From the ceremony to the reception everything went so smoothly! Everyone raved about the delicious food and the gorgeous view. I wish I could go back in time and experience it all over again! The River House will always have such a special place in our hearts! Thank you Gail and Maureen and the staff at the River House for making our dream wedding come true!

I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience we had getting married at the River House! Growing up in the area I have always loved the ambiance and the food, but having our wedding here was a special experience. Gail and Maureen are over the top and will not hesitate to go above and beyond for your special day. They make sure everyone, bride, groom, bridal party, family, friends, is taken care of. My family had to take an earlier shuttle there on the day of our wedding and accommodations were made for them before the wedding began (super helpful and put them at ease!). I wouldn't have changed 1 thing about our day and I know it wouldn't have flowed as well as it did without their help. Also the food is delicious :)

The River House made our wedding such an amazing day, words can't even describe how happy we were! Gail and Maureen were the most ladies! They made sure every single detail of our day was perfect! We booked this venue about a year and 1/2 in advance! Besides the staff being amazing, the food was talked about by all of our guests, we had a buffet with an ice cream bar for dessert! My husband and I never had to worry about eating or having a drink in our hand they made sure we were fully taken care of! I would have another event at The River House in a second! Thank You for making our wedding day a day we will never forget! <3

AMAZING! We cannot say enough good things about the staff and facility at the River House. Gail and Maureen are an absolute joy to work with. Gail made our day amazing and seamless. We were worried about logistics when it came to flowers, lighting candles, moving stuff upstairs but she took care of all of it. She’s amazing and the rest of the staff is wonderful as well, super friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and plentiful and the bar was quick and well stocked. Loved having the venue to ourselves, even with the restaurant closing weekend party being at the same time (didn’t even know that until I looked on their Facebook) it was very private and just our guests. The outdoor space was nice and private, the bridal suite was comfortable and a nice retreat. The room itself is well laid out, the glass everywhere shows the great views, and having stars be kind of our theme having the glass ceiling was very cool, dancing under the stars so to speak. The dance floor seemed small at first but it wound up being perfect. It helped us interact with just about everyone because we were all one big group on the dance floor. Every person who went loved everything about the venue and hopes to return again sometime soon (maybe for a baby shower lol). We would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone who asked. It was perfect.

The River House has a great view from the reception hall. It has huge windows all around the walls and it was a beautiful day outside. Gail and Maureen were wonderful to work with and made me feel like I didn't have to worry about anything. I wish I could have booked it for longer!

I married the love of my life this May and we hosted our reception at The River House. I cannot stress enough how amazing everyone is. Gail and Maureen were absolutely fabulous; leading up to the wedding they spent a lot of time going over details with us and making sure that we were all on the same page. They didn't mind me calling frequently just to ask a few questions and really took the time to make my now husband and I feel like we were their only clients (which I know wasn't the case). On our wedding day they coordinated everything beautifully. They made sure we were right on track and kept the night flowing seamlessly. They were super attentive and so friendly with our guests .. it was wonderful. The staff was remarkable; so sweet and really helpful. Our guests had various food preferences and allergies which were accommodated without trouble. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an affordable venue on the water to wow guests and leave the newlyweds with no regrets. We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate our love with our family and friends.

We just had our ceremony & reception at the River House and it was absolutely wonderful! Everything about it was fantastic! Gail and Maureen did an awesome job with the decorations and keeping things running smoothly! The food was soooo good and plentiful! The scenery was breath taking! Everyone had such a good time! Thanks Gail and Maureen for helping us pull off such a great wedding !!!

I cannot say enough about the professionalism that Gail and Maureen provided for our daughters wedding reception. The food was spectacular, the cocktail hour had beautiful presentation. I would gladly recommend the River house to anyone. Our guests have not stopped raving about the reception, everyone had a wonderful time.

The Riverhouse is an amazing place to have your wedding. Our guests were amazed with the views, the food and the service.
I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else to get married other than this place. Gail was unbelievable…nothing went wrong at my wedding thanks to Gail. I would recommend this place 100 percent for any type of party as they are the best.
