We are located only 10 minutes from downtown Wausau West on Highway 29. As one of the largest banquet facilities in the area, Rib River Ballroom Inc. can accommodate up to 400 of your guests comfortably.
Rib River Ballroom Inc. is a family-owned business that has been serving the community for more than 30 years. We offer great quality food at very reasonable prices. Since 1980 our customers have enjoyed our delicious menu selections and the special accommodations offered at our spacious facility.

Rib River was the perfect place to hold our reception! Jack & Sherry were always easy to get ahold of and were great to work with. They have so many features that we loved, such as having lots of lights hung up and they decorated the ceilings with lights and tulle for a small fee; inexpensive cake service (so we didn't have to transport sheet cakes); a beautiful forest and fountain area outside for pictures; a cozy yet large area for dinner and dancing; a stage for the DJ; AMAZING food; and more - we have no complaints!

Perfectly Planned

Jack and Sherry were wonderful to work with. The meal was amazing. The space was clean. The service was wonderful. Amazing experience.

This was the best place I could have chosen for my wedding reception! The grounds are beautiful and the ballroom is so large and roomy! The bar is awesome and very long, everyone at our wedding was able to sit at or gather around the bar! It was super affordable and the owners and employees are incredibly nice!

Rib River Ballroom has great food and the owner is very easy to work with! We were able to decorate ahead of time the week before the wedding and bring in our own candy buffet and after dinner snacks.
