It was a pleasure to have rhythm jab perform at our wedding. I discovered Rhythm Jab when they performed at a friend's wedding. I thought they sounded amazing, and asked for their info to see if they could play at ours. I was very impressed with our experience from start to finish. Brian and the rest of the band were professional and accommodating to our requests and last minute changes concerning the the ceremony and space available in the venue. They were very responsive and kept us informed of all the details including the schedule of songs and what to expect. Additionally, they learned several new songs to play at our wedding which made it very special (particularly, our first dance). They even DJ'd our wedding playlist in between their sets and made announcements using their equipment. And very importantly, they sounded great! Not only are they very musically talented, but they did a great job with sound mixing. The volume was tuned in just right for the venue. Brian from Rhythm jab was our DJ for our wedding. He was so professional and always took the time to answer any questions we had along the way. He also provided us with an outline of our wedding that we could use to fill in our song lists and the order that we wanted songs played.

The week before the wedding he met with me and my fiance and went over all of our special requests and the expected layout of the entire day. From the songs for our ceremony, all the way through to our final dances.

He helped keep the party going all night and checked in with me often to offer guidance or just to make sure I was happy with the how the day was going.

He is friendly and kind and did an amazing job from start to finish. It was a perfect day!

I have so many amazing things to say about this band!! I am a recently retired wedding coordinator, but a little over a year ago, I had the pleasure of hearing Rhythm jab at a wedding I was doing.
I have been in the wedding coordinating business for 25+ years, so I have honestly heard nearly every band in South and North Carolina. I have heard some of the biggest and most popular wedding bands who’ve been together for years along with many newer bands who aren’t well known yet, and I will tell you that this band has the MOST talent of any of the bands I’ve seen in my wedding career! They are absolutely unreal!! Everything from the musicians, to the vocalists, to the pitch perfect harmonies between the singers along with the energy they bring is absolutely unmatched! I also noticed from day 1 the close connection the band clearly has with each other. The dance floor stayed packed every time I’ve seen them! On top of all that, their song variety is amazing! They play tons of top hits from pretty much every genre and decade which is sure to please guests of all ages. They will also learn and perfect up to 6 songs of your choice for first dances, wedding party entrances etc.

The band owner is an extremely nice guy who is very professional and amazing to work with. With Rhythm jab, I can tell you from experience that there is No worries of added stress while planning your big day waiting hours or days before a vendor responds bc he is super efficient in his communication timing getting back to you almost immediately. Brian will make you feel as if you’re the only person on his schedule readily answering all of your questions and he will accommodate you in every way possible. After hearing them that first time, I told everyone I knew who was ever looking for a band… “HIRE RHYTHM JAB!!!!”
Whether it’s for a wedding, a corp event or whatever else you may need an amazing band for, they are hands down the way to go! I promise you won’t find anyone better! In fact I’ve hired them for 3 other private events that I’ve coordinated or hosted. I could go on and on but bottom line is HIRE RHYTHM JAB!!! You will NOT regret it!

Rhythm Jab performed for our wedding in September of 2023. We used them for our ceremony, cocktail, dinner, and reception. The music was amazing, especially our first dance songs that they learned. My husband and I chose “I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You”, and it was so beautiful!

They kept the music going all night long, and everyone was dancing and enjoying the night. Even when the band wasn’t playing they had a DJ that provided music for people to dance to as well.

Brian was extremely professional and very well organized. He shared a very detailed timeline for the day of the event with all the songs that would be played up to the minute so we knew what was happening and at what time. This helped the ceremony and the reception run smoothly!

We used their live music for the ceremony with the violin and cello player, and the full band for the rest of the evening. Top notch band with great service.
