Ryan was fantastic. He was probably the vendor that I worried about least during the whole process and on the day itself. He did not only our engagement shoot but a full 10 hours on the big day (which also happened to be his birthday), and hired a second shooter as well for a portion of the day. We've been absolutely thrilled with the quality of the photos--his unique talent for capturing fleeting moments is something really special. In a sea of overexposed, sterile, cookie cutter wedding photos, his organic style stands out and tells a story.
Not only is he a talented photographer, but he is professional, communicative, and highly conscientious about his work. I don't think he sat down or took a break the entire wedding day and he provided us with SO many photos. The hardest part about the whole process was narrowing down which photos to put into an album, because there were so many amazing choices! On top of all that, he's also a kind and thoughtful person. Can't recommend him enough.

We could not be happier with our experience with Ryan for our wedding photography! He was so wonderful to work with, and was both accommodating to our suggestions and wants and used his own creative style to capture beautiful pictures we wouldn't have dreamed of! He is certainly an artist at his craft and is highly skilled - our pictures were downright gorgeous. He had a way of seeing and using really unique lighting and backgrounds and making the colors (and smiles) really pop. We loved how he captured the joy of the day: people dancing and laughing, and small special moments between my husband and I throughout the day. We absolutely recommend him for his truly remarkable work!

I have nothing but positive things to say about working with Ryan for our wedding. Prior to the wedding, Ryan was easy to contact and responsive to ideas and questions. On our big day he was calm, professional, and low profile. He was able to capture all of the shots I requested on the list I had provided him, and helped us to coordinate and move through the list of photos for the day seamlessly.

Most importantly, I could not be happier with the pictures we received from the wedding. Ryan got the final edited photos to us within 5 weeks of our wedding, and I was blown away by the quality. Ryan's services are an AMAZING value- his vibrant style was so successful at capturing the spirit of our day and the energy of our guests. I would hire him again in a minute, and would recommend his services to anyone who asked.

Ryan did an absolutely wonderful job as our wedding photographer!! We have beautiful photos that we just love and he was so easy to work with from the start. With our ceremony beginning at sunset, we knew our venue would be somewhat dark for photos, so we were looking for someone that had great photos in low light conditions. Ryan's portfolio featured a lot of this and his photos from our wedding did not disappoint. They are truly stunning and captured the evening perfectly! He blended in seamlessly everywhere, and for such a tall fellow was anything but obtrusive. He even managed to sneak in for a few shots at just the perfect moment, when I didn't even know he was nearby.
As for turn around time, he shot at a multi-day music festival the week before our wedding and still managed to get our photos back to us pretty quickly. He continually kept us notified about his progress and made sure we knew when new photos were posted to our site.

Can't recommend RHR enough. The photos came back perfect - Ryan caught every special moment I hoped he would, and the posed shots were better than I've ever seen. This is probably because Ryan literally climbed a tree to get the shots he wanted for us.

Our wedding went by so fast, you really stand there hoping your photographer is getting it all, and Ryan was just part of the scenery everywhere we went. I think what I like most about him, aside from the fact our photos look like art, is that he really got into the spirit - everyone liked him a lot and he was so happy to be a part of it all.

We had a great time on the French Quarter after out wedding. What a fantastic backdrop.

We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. He is easy to work with and very dependable. Ryan managed to capture the true nature of our ceremony and reception while being totally unobtrusive as a photographer. He went above and beyond to capture the perfect shot. Including climbing a lamp post to get the best angle of our second line parade.

Ryan did a spectacular job with our wedding pictures. Our pictures were beautiful with outstanding clarity and definition. When we saw the photos of our wedding, it felt like we were reliving it all over again. He really made our photos come to life! He knew how to take the right angles and at the right moments.
