  Ryan was fantastic. He was probably the vendor that I worried about least during the whole process and on the day itself. He did not only our engagement shoot but a full 10 hours on the big day (which also happened to be his birthday), and hired a second shooter as well for a portion of the day. We've been absolutely thrilled with the quality of the photos--his unique talent for capturing fleeting moments is something really special. In a sea of overexposed, sterile, cookie cutter wedding photos, his organic style stands out and tells a story.
  Not only is he a talented photographer, but he is professional, communicative, and highly conscientious about his work. I don't think he sat down or took a break the entire wedding day and he provided us with SO many photos. The hardest part about the whole process was narrowing down which photos to put into an album, because there were so many amazing choices! On top of all that, he's also a kind and thoughtful person. Can't recommend him enough.

  We could not be happier with our experience with Ryan for our wedding photography! He was so wonderful to work with, and was both accommodating to our suggestions and wants and used his own creative style to capture beautiful pictures we wouldn't have dreamed of! He is certainly an artist at his craft and is highly skilled - our pictures were downright gorgeous. He had a way of seeing and using really unique lighting and backgrounds and making the colors (and smiles) really pop. We loved how he captured the joy of the day: people dancing and laughing, and small special moments between my husband and I throughout the day. We absolutely recommend him for his truly remarkable work!

  I have nothing but positive things to say about working with Ryan for our wedding. Prior to the wedding, Ryan was easy to contact and responsive to ideas and questions. On our big day he was calm, professional, and low profile. He was able to capture all of the shots I requested on the list I had provided him, and helped us to coordinate and move through the list of photos for the day seamlessly.
  
  Most importantly, I could not be happier with the pictures we received from the wedding. Ryan got the final edited photos to us within 5 weeks of our wedding, and I was blown away by the quality.   Ryan did an absolutely wonderful job as our wedding photographer!! We have beautiful photos that we just love and he was so easy to work with from the start. With our ceremony beginning at sunset, we knew our venue would be somewhat dark for photos, so we were looking for someone that had great photos in low light conditions. Ryan's portfolio featured a lot of this and his photos from our wedding did not disappoint. They are truly stunning and captured the evening perfectly! He blended in seamlessly everywhere, and for such a tall fellow was anything but obtrusive. He even managed to sneak in for a few shots at just the perfect moment, when I didn't even know he was nearby.
  As for turn around time, he shot at a multi-day music festival the week before our wedding and still managed to get our photos back to us pretty quickly. He continually kept us notified about his progress and made sure we knew when new photos were posted to our site.

  We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. He is easy to work with and very dependable. Ryan managed to capture the true nature of our ceremony and reception while being totally unobtrusive as a photographer. He went above and beyond to capture the perfect shot. Including climbing a lamp post to get the best angle of our second line parade.

Unlike some photographers who burden the action or make him/herself cumbersome to the event, Ryan seamlessly blends in to capture the most candid and natural photos. This results in accurate and journalistic evidence from your day.... which one needs as it flies by! Our photos are heartbreakingly beautiful that manage to stunningly capture the love, energy, and emotions of our chill ceremony and our rocking reception.
  
  If you want a calm soul to capture your rowdiest party, RHR is your man.

  Ryan was THE most wonderful photographer we could have hired for our elopement to New Orleans. He was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish, and he even recommended an officiant for us that worked out wonderfully, since we were planning the entire elopement from out of town. As my husband said, as soon as Ryan walked in he put us perfectly at ease. He used his artistic eye to create true magic, and we really trusted him in the process. As luck would have it, our two witnesses were stuck in traffic and late to our ceremony, so Ryan graciously offered to call his fiance and she made it out there to be a second witness, along with Ryan, and it was perfect!
  
  We received our photos in record time, and we are in love with each and every one of them. Thank you just doesn't seem enough considering Ryan's contribution to our wedding day, our marriage, and ultimately our life together as husband and wife. But, since it's all we have, THANK YOU Ryan, and Cle, you are both New Orleans treasures! :-)

  I cannot speak high enough of Ryan and his photography services. The photographer we had hired for the wedding literally cancelled on us two weeks prior to the date and because we had already paid him a large portion of money, we were seriously strapped in finding a new photographer. The economy package was exactly what we needed! Ryan was flexible enough to even stay an hour later than originally planned (for a very reasonable fee) so that he could capture some of our reception as well. If you are looking for a great photographer, I would recommend Ryan. We are more than pleased with how quickly we received our pictures and their quality. He made a very stressful situation easy and manageable.

  Ryan did a spectacular Job capturing our wedding in some adverse lighting conditions, during dusk at the Mandeville Lakefront. He managed to shoot excellent shots, really capturing the "essence" of our small wedding. The wedding was perfect, and Ryan Captured it for all time.

  If you're looking for just any old average wedding photographer - this is not your guy. If you're looking for modern, fresh and unique images, then he's the one!   RHR Wedding Photography provided a wonderful variety of intimate couple, family and wedding group shots. Ryan has an uncanny ability to recognize contrasting colorful backdrops with the important moments of the ceremony. Not only does Ryan take amazing photos, but his presence as a photographer is both gentle and professional. At our wedding, Ryan set up a rustic photo-booth and the product was incredible. I would highly recommend Ryan's photography to capture any wedding in a unique, beautiful and artistic fashion.

Ryan has an uncanny ability to recognize contrasting colorful backdrops with the important moments of the ceremony. Not only does Ryan take amazing photos, but his presence as a photographer is both gentle and professional. At our wedding, Ryan set up a rustic photo-booth and the product was incredible. I would highly recommend Ryan's photography to capture any wedding in a unique, beautiful and artistic fashion.

  personally i think hiring someone with a photojournalist's eye is the way to go with a wedding. candid documentary style photography really holds close the feel and emotion of the day. with his rich depth of color there was really no choice but ryan for our wedding. i absolutely love what he did. his personal energy is palpable and makes everyone feel excited and at ease with his presence. all in all a fantastic experience.
