Welcome to Revival Decatur! Revival is an award winning restaurant located in the heart of the City of Decatur, all captured in the setting of a beautiful 19th Century home. This historically preserved turn of the century Craftsman upholds and projects the very theme we are trying to capture at Revival; Grandma’s house for supper!

Our purpose as a restaurant and venue is to serve authentic southern foods sourced locally with a focus on seasonality and the best southern hospitality Georgia has to offer. Most menu options are derived from the mind of owner Chef Kevin Gillespie: James Beard Nominated Chef, Author, 2 time Top Chef Finalist. This is all in an effort to share the food Chef Kevin grew up eating in his Grandmother's Kitchen with our guests and friends.
Enjoy perfectly crafted cocktails on our covered patio, hors d’oeuvres on our front porch and family style dinner in one of our private dinning rooms. Consider using our full property for your event including Communion Beer Garden located behind the restaurant, which is one of the largest outdoor spaces in Decatur. We have designated packages to fit from the most nominal budgets to luxurious over the top events. Wether you’re looking for family style, plated dinner or cocktail party format, we aim to provide you and your guests with an unforgettable experience.

There's a a number of benefits for this specific locale, as Revival is located 1 city block from Decatur Square. No matter if you are planning a large family wedding, rehearsal dinner or welcome party, Revival has excellent proximity to lodging, entertainment, dinning and an abundance of parking.

In addition to location Revival boast one of the largest outdoor areas in the City of Decatur. You'll find an enchanting front porch to view our front yard of local seasonal flora such as figs, peaches, aromatic gardena's and an age old Magnolia tree. A large covered patio extends our floor plan for an opportunity for your guests to enjoy dinner on a nice breezy Georgia evening. Retire to our back yard event space "Communion Beer Garden" for a more casual pac. Here you will find our communal table nestled beneath twinkle lights flanked by our food truck & beverage hut. This is a perfect post dinner hang or maybe a casual cocktail party kick-off! To add to the laidback atmosphere of Communion we have music and some adult games (Darts, Cornhole, Giant Jenga) to help keep the party going.

Unlike other Wedding Venues, as a traditional southern restaurant Revival puts service and hospitality first. We are not aiming to increase our business, we are aiming to extend our family as we have been doing in the Decatur and greater Atlanta communities for many years now.
