We loved having Jay as our caterer. We had two guests with celiac and Jay was very knowledgeable about food allergies / gluten and was easily (and successfully) able to accommodate us. When we hit a small hiccup, Jay was very open and transparent with us about our options. Everyone loved the food!

We originally booked Red Barn Catering for a June 2020 wedding and had to postpone it for the following year. Throughout the whole process, J has been very kind, responsive and helped us navigate the food selection ensuring we had exactly what we needed. On the big day, we had exactly what we envisioned and everyone loved the food selection, even the picky meat/potatoes guests. We would definitely book with Red Barn again.

J. from RedBarn Catering catered our wedding for 200+ people this July at Folklore Village in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Working with J. was awesome and we highly recommend him and his catering team! J. was extremely professional and friendly, meeting with us several times (in person and over the phone) prior to our wedding and promptly returning our emails. He helped us decide on tasty yet budget-friendly options for our meal and was also extremely accommodating, taking into account the dietary needs of some of our guests. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early and was very calm. Everything ran smoothly and the food was delicious! The appetizer and dinner spreads were beautiful (so colorful with lots of great summer produce and Wisconsin cheese). We got so many compliments on the food and knowing that it was locally-sourced made it even better. We want to throw another party with his food again! Throughout the wedding-planning process, one thing that we were NEVER stressed about was the food. Thank you, J., for the delicious food and for helping everything run smoothly!

J and team were a pleasure to work with. J and previously worked at the location we selected and was very helpful in planning for the separate cocktail and dinner set ups. His menu options were diverse and reasonably priced. We were thrilled to pick simple, regional foods that were familiar but far from boring. He was even able to accommodate a late request for a menu change as well. Everyone raved about the food and the quality!
His team did an excellent job setting up the cocktail hour, dinner buffet, cake & late night snacks. In addition to the dinner buffet we had his team serve the head & family tables. The food was piping hot and super fresh- he was even able to get the local cheese we requested. We were also glad to work with him to secure a bartender that was easy to work with, knowledgable and friendly.
I also want to note that he did an amazing job cleaning up the event- he made it easy to transport left overs and ensured I got my full deposit back thanks to his cleaning of the kitchen.
I'd gladly hire him again for an event and give him my top recommendation to friends.

J at Ted Barn Catering was absolutely excellent. I was attracted to his work for its local home grown approach, and when J told me he would be able to work with my smaller budget, I was ecstatic. J is fun to work with, comedic, and an overall great person to be around. And that food! Absolutely a good value. We were very very satisfied.
