The food was perfect and affordable. You MUST have their passion fruit salad it is delightful. Wonderful service.

Molly met with me and my daughter. She had samples for us and many ideas. She was very easy to work with and advised us on our choices. She is very knowledgeable. She gave us a tour of her kitchen, too. We were really impressed with her. We also like doing business with small businesses and she is great!

Everything about working with Molly was a joy. I was undecided for quite awhile what exactly I wanted and she was very patient in answering all my questions. She also did a tasting for my friend who lives in the area since I lived out of state. I loved my adorable cake & though my request was pretty simple, I've seen her pictures & know that she has the ability to do whatever you can dream up. She also seemed very affordable compared to other area options.

Molly was great from the first time we met with her all the way through the process.

The cake was one of the last things that I had decided on we called her up and wanted to meet for a cake testing. She had 3 huge pieces of cake waiting all set up nicely in her home office.

She was very helpful in the decision process, I wanted something nice and simple yet elegant. She came through, when the cake was delivered it was beautiful. We had a lot of compliments on the cake on the way it was presented and on the way it tasted!!

We had a destination wedding in Duluth MN with a small amount of guests (family only) and chose Red Swan Catering (which is also Clearwater Grille & Event Center) to prepare our food, cake and reception area. I mainly worked with Jessica which is the owner's daughter. Jessica was very pleasant and willing to work with us from the beginning. I mainly communicated with her through email due to being 3.5 hours away and having a busy schedule. She was prompt to answer my emails. Closer to the wedding date I wanted to change some things on our wedding cake that they were making for us, during this, I spoke with Molly (the owner) and she was very helpful and willing to adjust our cake so it was more to our liking. For the reception (we rented out their loft which overlooks the dinning room) they had the tables set up just the way we asked and had hung some decorative lighting for us as well. Due to being from out of town and having a ton of other things to do, they were nice enough to let us come in the day before our wedding to decorate to our liking which was a BIG help!

The food....not the greatest but definitely edible. The Cilantro Lime Chicken was VERY lime-y and looked like rubber. One of our guests even thought the chicken was a pork chop. lol. But the beef tips on the other hand got good reviews from our guests. The cake was pretty good, I think the decorating could have been done a little cleaner but overall it was exactly what we asked for.

Great cake!!! Exactly what I wanted. Guests loved the cake!!!! Well worth the value.

We had our Red Velvet two-tier wedding cake, along with 150 cupcakes, made by Red Swan. She was very nice and knowledgeable. She let us sample LARGE pieces of cake and let us take our time. The only problem we had was that she didn't provide boxes to take the cake home in after the wedding.

We had a very large wedding and needed a reception venue that could hold almost 300 guests. The people that work at Red Swan are very nice, however the lower level ballroom definitely needs some work and along with the parking lot. They need new carpet, need to fix all of the broken and missing blinds, replace the ceiling tiles, buy more tables, put in a sound system for speeches (the DJ's speakers cannot be head from the other side of the ballroom) and repave the parking lot. The other frustrating part was we wrote up a contract with them of what we would like and not like and/or need for decorations they provided. We asked for no mirrors or mints on the tables, they were on the tables. We needed the tall bar tables for the cocktail area, they no longer had them. We needed 2 pedestals for our flower arrangements by the head table, one was broken. It would have been nice to know these things before we arrived to decorate. We were told they were very busy that evening, with their restaurant and another wedding upstairs. For the amount of money you pay you reception venue, make sure you get what you are paying for. I would only recommend them if they did some renovating and paid a little more attention to detail. Their catering service is a completely different story, the food was delicious!
