About

Based out of Overland Park, Kansas, Red Beat Entertainment features bands providing fitting melodies for weddings and other special days. Established during a time when live performances had nowhere to go, these musicians came together to form a new and exciting project. Consisting of multi-talented performers, this band delights in entertaining couples and guests alike.

Services Offered

Red Beat Entertainment can provide appropriate tunes throughout your wedding day. During your ceremony, their classical vocalist, Brooke, can be accompanied by an acoustic guitar or piano as you make your way down the aisle. Understanding that this is a poignant moment in your lives, these musicians can further highlight this through their elegant melodies. In between your ceremony and reception, a jazz duo can provide a fun vibe as you mingle with loved ones and raise a toast to your love story. As your reception gets into full swing, the band can take to the stage and play all of the songs that mean the most to you. What's more, your party guests will be able to text the musicians for requests and shoutouts. For a high-energy rocking experience, look no further than Run With It, a non-stop rock-pop dance party known for touring around the US and beyond. If you want comedy and a raucous, interactive experience, bring on the Songwheels for a request-based show that can also recreate the dueling pianos experience of your favorite live-music joint. Our dedicated DJ and MC, DJ PJS, is in demand year-round for events, combining live instruments for a unique spin on a DJ experience that will leave your guests floored on the dance floor.

The BEST Wedding Entertainment! Couldn't be happier!!

Paul and Brooke were SO wonderful! We had them play our wedding and they were fantastic! Not only could they spin an eclectic mix that kept our guests dancing all night, they even played and sang specific requests and tributes. The best was when they played along with members of our family who sing as well. Warm, generous, and a delight to have running your event. You'll absolutely love them!

Packed Dance Floor and Complete Confidence

Paul and his team are AMAZING. It was so helpful to know we had a professional, upbeat, and collaborative MC the whole evening. He pivoted where necessary and our brought the high-energy music just like we'd hoped for! Our dance floor was packed the whole night (seriously, and it was not tiny to start with). They are fun, talented, and experts in the biz. They made our day personal to use with favorite requests, shout-outs, and being in tune with the crowd. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing!!!

Paul and Brooke Seiz performed the music at our wedding. They resided in Kansas while I lived in Ohio. In spite of distance, Brooke and Paul were on constant communication as to the details of all the music. Their talents are exceptional, and it showed throughout the wedding. My husband and I could not have been more pleased.

Pawlewicz Wedding

Working with Paul and Brooke was absolutely amazing. Not only are they great people to work with, but they made our reception an absolute blast. One of our favorite parts was the integration of live music and DJ services. They performed live for our cocktail hour and first dances, and Paul DJ’d the remainder of the reception. Their energy is contagious, their voices are incredible, and so many of our guests commented on how great they did. Our venue even told us they had never seen that many people out on the dance floor before!

Underprepared and did not listen

Paul sold himself as an entertainer, one who would play instruments, engage the crowd, and was well versed in wedding performance. He was nice enough, but was the worst part of the wedding. There were no instruments, and he and his teammate were oblivious to the whole vibe, drinking their beers and not engaging with guests at all.

Paul confirmed that he would provide the officiant with a wireless microphone. He brought no microphone, and the volume on our recording is ruined! The officiant was devastated, and it was too late to run out and get one.)

We told him that the groom’s mother had recently passed and he would be dancing with his mother-in-law instead, and to announce it as such. We said this in our interview, in our timeline, and 10 minutes before. He announced it as his MOTHER, and both his dad and his brother cried.

He did not cut the family dance songs to the 90 seconds he had offered to do for us (and we confirmed), so the bride’s dad almost fell over during the 3+ minute father daughter song (which we had promised him would be 90 seconds, as confirmed by the DJ).

Paul never replied with a timeline when asked, and sent a list of music for clubs (we explicitly stayed that we wanted games, then oldies, then 80’s, 90’s, 00’s during the interview), so we send him our timeline, with a modified list and genres to be certain we had the music plan ready. He did only one game/active dance (these were our TOP priority, as we had stated numerous times), and had not done the work to prep questions for the game prior to the event. He said, in the moment, “the internet will provide.” No forethought or customization at all. He played songs no one was dancing to (all songs not from our generations and genres list).

Paul also did this thing that made us and our guests super uncomfortable—he REPEATEDLY said that a song was at the bride and groom’s request to dance to, which is was not. Several people came up to us and asked us to make him stop saying that.

When I explicitly said what year I wanted to play songs from, he started playing back to back (4 songs) we all knew and liked. That was the only time people danced all night :(. During these back to back songs, Paul tied to do the record scratch thing from old school music, but he did it at the parts we were actually singing too, so it just threw everyone off and made it weird.

Overall, nice enough guy, but completely under prepared and oblivious. If you care about the music at your event above a 2 (out of 5), do not go with him.
