Scott and his entire team were absolutely a joy to work with from the initial video call with Scott. They were so professional, timely and provided everything I needed. We had so many compliments! Our piano ceremony music knew every song possible and our guests loved it. Highly recommend!

Hiring The Covers was one of top 3 best decisions we made for our wedding day. The Covers aren’t just good- they’re the best. I’ve heard wedding bands that play well but look and act like a mess. I’ve seen wedding bands that look buttoned up but sound like your kid brother’s garage band. The Covers are the real deal: Their 6-person group includes the best professional musicians in the Twin Cities, and they are poised, polished, and FUN! Their set list is tight, and every song they play sounds practically like the real thing. It is clear that they spend a lot of time and thought on instrumentation of their songs. At least 10 guests asked us how/where we found the band, and whether they could hire them too. Additionally, the Covers were great to work with. Sara was so helpful with all my questions, and she helped take care of a dicey sound/light equipment situation with our venue ahead of time so that our day would be the best ever.

Nothing will beat the moment my wife and I stepped onto the dance floor, and the Covers nailed our chosen first-dance song. I kept repeating to my wife that I was so glad we hired a videographer so we could go back and listen to The Covers play our first dance song on film. It was my favorite moment of the night.

The Covers were awesome! They kept the dance floor full during the entire reception. During their breaks the sound guy seamlessly switched to our iPod music. Sarah and all the singers are unbelievably talented. Several guests who attended wanted contact info for their weddings. Their song list is unequaled. Great job!!

Your looking at the perfect fit for your wedding or any event where you want an upscale, elegant feel. I cannot rave about these guys enough!! Honestly our wedding went perfectly overall and we were very happy with all of our vendors, but these guys went above and beyond. So professional too. Our wedding was on a paddle boat in Stillwater. From the time we booked Belle Amour about a year before the wedding, all the way up to when everyone got off the boat on the day of, the communication was just right. On the day of, they came on the boat, set up without any issues and were ready to go when needed. You have no idea how nice it was that I didn't have to worry about there details, they just knew exactly what to do. We had an issue with the Mic and sound system on the boat itself (Nothing to do with this band) But they sprang into action and had a mic ready for us right when they heard we were having trouble. Thank You!! The music was wonderful everyone commented how perfect it made the evening. They did a couple "special" songs for our ceremony and 1st dance and were flawless. I guess you can see, I can say enough about the group. I would recommend them to anyone I know and if you are still questioning anything, call Scott, he will help answer any questions you have. We chose Reception Jazz for our wedding reception, and we couldn't have been happier! Not only were Scott and the other musicians extremely talented, but they were prompt, professional, and were great about communication. We had a really easy time working with them, and our guests absolutely loved having a live band playing great jazz classics.

We had Belle Amour play during our dinner for our 1920s theme wedding. They were amazing! All of our guest commented on how beautiful the music was and how it really made it authentic. The band members also dressed up to match our theme.

We booked the Covers for our reception and they were absolutely amazing! Getting a quote and booking the band was easy, as was communicating with the band. Bruce was always quick to reply to emails or phone calls, and always answered questions/tossed around ideas well. The band was accomodating to our schedule and they were very discreet with setup. They learned the song for our first dance and it was wonderful. The song selection throughout the night was great! Everyone was out on the dance floor the entire night! The only downside was that guests would trickle out during the later band breaks. We had the band select the playlist for band breaks and that was great too. The band members were respectful, professional, and so very sweet. I would hire them again in a heart beat and I think everyone else should too!

The Covers did an amazing job at our wedding reception! Tons of our guests came up to us during the reception and said how great The Covers are, and asked us how we found them. They are tight, talented, on point, and have a great set list and attitude.
They even learned our first dance song for us AND the leader, Bruce, let us come by his studio so we could practice our special first dance with him playing the song! He truly went above and beyond. We scored big time with finding them!

We hired reception jazz for our wedding and a month later guests are still talking about what a great band they were. They played a variety of songs and our guests danced the night away despite neither my husband's family or my family being big dancers. Additionally, they allowed my cousin to play a few songs with them on the keyboard which I know meant a lot of my grandma and aunt. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting entertainment at their reception. It sure beats a DJ!
