Raquel and her band were excellent! Raquel is an amazing singer. Raquel worked with me on the choice of music to be sung and met my needs with the selection of Spanish and English song choices. My guests were enjoying the music and were dancing and commenting on how much fun they were having. I would recommend Raquel to anyone that wants to make their wedding or any event a hit! Robert and I hired Raquel and her Band for our Wedding Reception in September…and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect artist. Raquel was amazing and exceeded our expectations. For our party, we chose Bossa Nova and Latin Jazz…which she nailed. Raquel is a true professional with a pitch perfect sensual voice and a warm elegant style. Her Band is equally talented with amazing instrumentals and guitar and together they made perfect music for a perfect evening. We received endless praise about Raquel from guests and staff alike. While searching for a band for our wedding, we went to hear Raquel play and immediately loved her classy & elegant sound. We knew she would bring exactly the energy we were looking for to our reception so we booked her on the spot. She was a joy to work with. She was very flexible and offered several instrument/band options to meet our budget. She also worked with us to ensure that the song selection was to our liking, although that was easy since we love her sound.

On the big day Raquel and the band were perfect professionals, played great music that had the dance floor full, and didn't sweat that we were a bit behind schedule in the program. I would recommend Raquel to anyone looking for classic big band and latin jazz!

My husband and I hired Raquel and her band to play for a dinner party after our wedding reception in October. My husband was raised in Brazil and I knew that it would be a special treat to have bossa nova (and other latin jazz) for him and his family incorporated into the evening. One of our guests was personal friends with Jobim so we wanted someone that our guests would really appreciate. We hadn't seen Raquel perform live and so were simply going off of her referrals and a few video clips we found online.

I must say that I am so grateful that we hired Raquel. She and her band raised the caliber of our celebration and most of our guests thanked us afterward for the "gift" of her music for the evening. Our friend that had known Jobim (composer of "the girl from impanema") told Raquel that he loved her music and that Jobim himself would have appreciated her performance of his music.

We were not sure if our guests would dance much that night but Raquel's music lifts you out of your seat and you just can't help yourself! She played exactly the music that we requested, was a complete professional and delight to work with. We highly recommend Raquel and suspect she raises the calibre at every event she performs.

Raquel and her band are amazing! I am an event coordinator at The Winery SF and I had a pleasure of listening to them at one of my weddings. Raquel has an amazing voice and is very bubbly and easy to work with. Our company hired Raquel and her band for our holiday party 2 straight years in a row, and that’s because she and the band are fantastic and very talented! She has a great voice and very charismatic – she even got us up and dancing! (I mentioned to her beforehand not to take offense if no one dances as our small group tend to “chat’ and catch up at these parties). She definitely listened to our needs and tailor the song selections accordingly. She’s also responsive and very professional, truly a pleasure to work with!

Raquel and her band did an amazing job at our wedding! They played all of the songs we asked for -- including ones they had never played before -- and raquel played a couple songs that she had specifically written for weddings which were beautiful. Everyone raved about the band! Highly recommend her!
