I can't say enough good things about Rah Hair Studio. I contacted them for my wedding that was taking place in South Lake Tahoe (I'm from out of town). Easy booking process, although a lot of information to remember for wedding hair/makeup lol. Angela helped me coordinate and kept in contact with me via email throughout the process. She's very sweet and super helpful.. and definitely runs a well oiled machine there. I didn't feel stressed at any point during the planning process with RAH (you know, vendors that flake or you can't seem to ever get ahold of them). I did some research and social media stalking and knew I wanted to work with Amanda Simpson and Krissy Rumack (although I don't think you can go wrong with anyone there). Between the bridal trial and the day of the wedding, Amanda and Krissy were beyond great to work with. Besides the fact that they are both the sweetest and most easy going, they are EXCEPTIONAL at what they do. Not only did they do a beautiful job on my hair and makeup, they made all of the ladies look absolutely stunning. Amanda and Krissy were professional and on time the day of the wedding, ready to go and even stayed ahead of schedule so I never felt rushed or stressed out. If you want to work with a great team for your wedding, this is it. Love them and love the studio!

My hair lasted two days in curls after Amanda's magic. There are horror stories out there of hair falling after 45 minutes with other brides, not with RAH. Ask for Amanda if you can- my hair looked the same from 12PM to 12AM. She is just the best!

Migle is a great listener. She delivered 100%. I even changed everything about my makeup from my trial and she nailed it! My trial makeup was gorgeous - however once I added a bunch of emboidery to my dress I wanted something softer makeup wise. She delivered on that.

Choose RAH for any event! They may cost a bit higher than some, but it is only because they are a talented skilled team. We never fell behind schedule in fact we were ahead. Again, shows they know their craft and are true professionals.

I don't even know where to begin! Angela and Haley were the BEST hair & makeup artists. They were professional, thorough, organized, prompt, efficient - the list goes on. I felt so comfortable with them and truly enjoyed them being a part of our getting ready process. I can't recommend them enough, I was beyond happy with how my hair & makeup turned out. I made a change with my eye makeup from the trial and Haley did exactly what needed to be done and I looked exactly how I wanted. From the start of the day, to the end of the night, my makeup looked great and my hair barely lost it's look by the end of the night. If you have found RAH, your search is over! Don't waste your time looking elsewhere.

Throughout the process leading up to the day Angela was super helpful. We had to postpone because of the Caldor fire and there were no issues with that at all. On the day of Haley did exactly what I asked for, only better. It was a relaxing environment and probably the least stressful part of the wedding day.

Rah Hair Studio has taken care of our clients for almost 10 years now! They are professional and talented. The owner takes GREAT pride in her business. RAH Hair & Makeup were exceptional!! Not only did I throw a list minute makeup at them the night before, I also threw a last minute hair the day of!! AND to top that, they completed 11 hairstyles & 11 makeups from 7:45am-1:45pm...and we finished early! All my bridesmaids and my mother/mother in law were in awe over their hairstyles and makeup. Our hair artist was Annie and our makeup artist was Haley and they were sweet & fun and so patient. Also, the winds on our wedding ended up being up to 20mph and all our hair stayed beautiful ;) Very impressed and you should definitely choose RAH Hair for your Special Day!

For our elopement, Julie did my bridal updo, my makeup, and my fiance's hair. She was very sweet and was great about asking for feedback throughout trials and day-of services, to ensure that we were satisfied with her work. Thanks to Julie and Rah for making sure we looked our best!

Hayley not only did a great job with the natural wedding look that I had requested, but she was such a joy to be around. Her products were great, she wasn't offended when I asked to bring some of my own makeup, and she really helped make the getting ready process easy and lighthearted!

During the contracting process, the salon reservationist was super helpful. I changed the contract a few times and later on the schedule of the day and they were very accommodating. Day of, the girls arrived on time at our rental house where we were getting ready and kept us on schedule. I hired a single makeup artist and a single hair stylist for 5 women. They did an amazing job!
