I can't say enough good things about Rah Hair Studio. I contacted them for my wedding that was taking place in South Lake Tahoe (I'm from out of town). Easy booking process, although a lot of information to remember for wedding hair/makeup lol. Angela helped me coordinate and kept in contact with me via email throughout the process. She's very sweet and super helpful.. and definitely runs a well oiled machine there. I didn't feel stressed at any point during the planning process with RAH (you know, vendors that flake or you can't seem to ever get ahold of them). I did some research and social media stalking and knew I wanted to work with Amanda Simpson and Krissy Rumack (although I don't think you can go wrong with anyone there). Between the bridal trial and the day of the wedding, Amanda and Krissy were beyond great to work with. Besides the fact that they are both the sweetest and most easy going, they are EXCEPTIONAL at what they do. Not only did they do a beautiful job on my hair and makeup, they made all of the ladies look absolutely stunning. Amanda and Krissy were professional and on time the day of the wedding, ready to go and even stayed ahead of schedule so I never felt rushed or stressed out. If you want to work with a great team for your wedding, this is it. Love them and love the studio! -

Amanda and Migle are amazing. They completely understand their craft.
My hair lasted two days in curls after Amanda's magic. There are horror stories out there of hair falling after 45 minutes with other brides, not with RAH. Ask for Amanda if you can- my hair looked the same from 12PM to 12AM. She is just the best!
Migle is a great listener. She delivered 100%. I even changed everything about my makeup from my trial and she nailed it! My trial makeup was gorgeous - however once I added a bunch of emboidery to my dress I wanted something softer makeup wise. She delivered on that.
Choose RAH for any event! They may cost a bit higher than some, but it is only because they are a talented skilled team. We never fell behind schedule in fact we were ahead. Again, shows they know their craft and are true professionals. -

I don't even know where to begin! Angela and Haley were the BEST hair & makeup artists. They were professional, thorough, organized, prompt, efficient - the list goes on. I felt so comfortable with them and truly enjoyed them being a part of our getting ready process. I can't recommend them enough, I was beyond happy with how my hair & makeup turned out. I made a change with my eye makeup from the trial and Haley did exactly what needed to be done and I looked exactly how I wanted. From the start of the day, to the end of the night, my makeup looked great and my hair barely lost it's look by the end of the night. If you have found RAH, your search is over! Don't waste your time looking elsewhere. -

So easy to work with
Throughout the process leading up to the day Angela was super helpful. We had to postpone because of the Caldor fire and there were no issues with that at all. On the day of Haley did exactly what I asked for, only better. It was a relaxing environment and probably the least stressful part of the wedding day. -

RAH Hair & Makeup were exceptional!! Not only did I throw a list minute makeup at them the night before, I also threw a last minute hair the day of!! AND to top that, they completed 11 hairstyles & 11 makeups from 7:45am-1:45pm...and we finished early! All my bridesmaids and my mother/mother in law were in awe over their hairstyles and makeup. Our hair artist was Annie and our makeup artist was Haley and they were sweet & fun and so patient. Also, the winds on our wedding ended up being up to 20mph and all our hair stayed beautiful ;) Very impressed and you should definitely choose RAH Hair for your Special Day! -

Hayley was incredible for hair and makeup!
Hayley not only did a great job with the natural wedding look that I had requested, but she was such a joy to be around. Her products were great, she wasn't offended when I asked to bring some of my own makeup, and she really helped make the getting ready process easy and lighthearted! -

During the contracting process, the salon reservationist was super helpful. I changed the contract a few times and later on the schedule of the day and they were very accommodating. Day of, the girls arrived on time at our rental house where we were getting ready and kept us on schedule. I hired a single makeup artist and a single hair stylist for 5 women. They did an amazing job! -

They accommodated each of our requests and made sure we were ready to go on time. I felt natural, yet polished on my big day. Thank you!

Cascade Sent on 01/24/2018If it was possible to give beyond a 5 star rating I would. I was thrilled for our wedding out at The Hideout. We had an 11am ceremony planned in middle of the woods, and Angie and her team ventured out from Tahoe before the sun rose to be there to take care of the bridal party. I am pretty sure it is every brides nightmare to be sick the morning of the wedding, or even to have things not go as planned but that was in the cards for us that day. We had the power going out on us, which only led to the team using headlamps till it came back on. They did not even skip a beat!! Then I became incredibly sick. To say her hair styling stood the test of time is an understatement. After my hair and make up were done I ended up puking then taking a nap on my moms lap for an hour . When I woke up I felt so much better, but was terrified at the thought of not looking my best. I stood up to look in the mirror and my hair looked as beautiful as it did when she finished. I saw my bridesmaids and the stunning braids and curls that fell on their face and I knew this day was still all that I wanted it to be. Angie has a way of customizing a look to fit the person. Her passion for what she does is why I invited her to be part of our magical day, and I could not imagine anyone else being there with us. If you are looking for someone to highlight all that is you, to make you feel as beautiful as you should on your wedding day look no further. Hands down, the best hairstylist I have ever had the pleasure of working with!

Angie Zajic has been my hairstylist forever so when I got married there wasn’t even a question as to who I would trust with my wedding hair. Angie’s professionalism and creativity along with her friendly and warm personality make the perfect combination for your wedding hair stylist. My dream was to look and feel like a princess on my wedding day and Angie delivered above and beyond what I had hoped for. I also had 8 bridesmaids with a call time at around 5am and Angie along with Angie Ricci rocked it from start to finish and everyone looked incredible! I was so unbelievably thankful to have this dream team be a part of one of the most magical days of my life. This is the only place one should consider when needing wedding hair and/or an everyday stylist!

The staff is absolutely exceptional! They are fun to talk to, up to date on current hair trends and it is always a wonderful vibe. If you are looking for a hair studio for wedding hair, this is the place! Rah hair studio, you are the absolute best!

Sara Sent on 09/28/2018The staff at RAH hair studio was absolutely wonderful to work with! They were quite accommodating when we had a hard time trying to schedule my trial as I was from out of town. And they were very flexible when I wanted to shift my day-of start time back an hour, and then later shifting it a half hour forward to get my wedding day schedule perfectly set.
As for the hair/makeup stylists themselves, I worked with Angie and Michelle. I came into my trial with vague ideas and pinterest pictures and they worked with me to make the looks my own. As someone who knows very little about makeup, I was pretty nervous about not looking like myself but I left my trial very happy with my natural yet beautiful hair/makeup (the airbrush foundation is amazing!). A few months later I decided I wanted to switch up my hair - I just texted Angie and she said that was definitely something we could do. The day-of, they came to the Airbnb we had rented and setup shop in the living room. They handled the MOB, MOG, and all the bridesmaids' hair/makeup. They did a great job, were fun to have around for the morning, and everyone was very pleased with their results! They worked on schedule and actually ended up finishing ahead of time. When Michelle started my makeup she said she had gotten a new palette that matched the colors I had originally wanted so we experimented around with her new stuff until we settled on the final look. The night before the wedding, I glued some extra lace from my wedding dress onto some bobby pins and Angie was able to effortlessly incorporate those into my hair style last minute.
Overall we were very happy with our experience with RAH hair studio. The only complaint I got from my bridesmaids was that it was a bit more expensive than they wanted to pay for hair and makeup but I think that just comes with the Tahoe area and the demand. Would definitely recommend for any bride, even those with very little experience with hair/makeup! -
