Marybeth, from the rafters, was super responsive, accommodating, helpful, and executed our wedding day flawlessly. The wedding space is a hidden gem in the middle of Newtown, PA. The space was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. I initial toured the venue via zoom and fell in love. If you are looking for a venue in Newtown, I highly recommend the Rafters!

The venue is gorgeous, everyone gave lots of compliments the day of. Mary Beth is amazing, compassionate and great with details. She makes sure you get what you want and sticks to your vision. She was very helpful throughout the entire process and setting up day of went very smoothly. Highly recommend!

Wow! It’s hard for me to find the words to describe how amazing this venue is. First off it is beautiful!!! The space is huge and it is soooo unique! The outside ceremony space is so cute and the inside speaks for itself. Working with Mary Beth was a dream! She was so responsive and I know she really cared about making my day special. I was previously booked with another venue but due to covid we had to find another venue about a month before. I wish I found Rafter’s first!!! Mary Beth and her team did everything in their power to make my day special and we received soooo many compliments about the venue after our wedding! I would recommend Rafter’s to anyone!

When I walked in with my mom and dad, Marybeth was there waiting for us! I walked in and just like your dress- you know. I knew right there that I wanted to have my wedding here. I told Marybeth from the start I am not a big wedding person as I have been in so many and she made she that this day was PERFECT. Any question we had, she answered. She set us up with the food which was AMAZING and she helped us pick out colors plates and all. You never know how much goes into planning a wedding but having Mary Beth and the whole team- took out all the guess work. For me, all I can say is that Joel and I just had to show up. She allowed us to come in 48 hours before and dropped off anything we needed- center pieces and all. Mom left her notes and going from small boxes on a piece of paper to seeing it all done- it brought tears to me eyes. No matter what event you want to hold, Marybeth and all of the Rafters team will take care of you! Thank you Marybeth for being part of our day.

WOW. I have so much to say about Rafters but if there is one thing you need to know it's that you NEED to choose this as your venue.

Originally, I had booked another venue, but that venue cancelled on me 4 weeks before our wedding. My event designer knew of Rafters so I gave the owner, Mary Beth, a call. Luckily, they were available on my date and I can truly say that cancellation was the BEST thing to happen to us.

First, Mary Beth is the kindest woman I think I've ever met. The first time we spoke she was on the phone consoling me and helping to calm me down because of everything we had gone through due to COVID. I knew right away we would now be in good hands. She made herself available every time we needed to see the venue and worked with literally every dream and wish I had.

Rafters has their own rental company so they provide the tables and linens. We had to stick to social distancing guidelines which made the layout and rentals a bit tricky. However, Mary Beth still made it work. I said I wanted 4 farm tables, she fit 4 farm tables. I said I wanted bistro lights outside, she got bistro lights up outside. I said I wanted certain chairs, she found enough of them for all of my guests. Mary Beth worked so hard and it was such a pleasure planning our wedding with her.

Rafters is a great venue because the layout is awesome and its really a blank canvas so you can make it whatever you'd like. They are also prepared for ANYTHING. Mist on your wedding day? They have a tent for the ceremony. Pouring rain? They have an indoor space as well. Guests nervous of being in large crowds? They have a covered outdoor space for them to enjoy. Truly, Rafters has it all and you can feel confident that they will be able to tackle any issues as they arise. It's also perfect because it's new and updated! The bathrooms are very clean and and the bridal suite is large and beautiful. The bars are also large so that lines don't form and the prices are very reasonable.

You can tell this is not just a business to Mary Beth and that she really cares about all of the people who use her space. She really made our dreams come true. What could have been a disaster turned into the best day of our lives and we owe it all to her and Rafters. Please use this venue because I KNOW you will not be disappointed. If you want people to work hard to make your vision come true, Rafters is the place to go. I genuinely have no cons or complaints about Rafters.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for everything you have done for us. We had our dream wedding in the middle of a pandemic and I will forever be so thankful to you guys for making it happen.

MaryBeth at Rafter’s made our day amazing. Our original date was 5/9 but we had to postpone due to COVID. Two weeks before our new wedding date our state set a 25 person indoor occupancy limit and MaryBeth (+ Brillman’s Rental Barn) turned their outdoor garden into a 110 person outdoor reception. It was beautiful. Rafters made our wedding day the best day!

Rafters Venue was absolutely the perfect wedding reception venue. More than enough space for our 300 guests and the decor and feel of the venue was exactly what we wanted. We kept our reception simple, elegant, and with enough space for a packed dance floor all night long! Marybeth was unbelievably kind to my husband and me and for that I could never thank her enough. Not to mention the hotel all of our family and friends stayed at was 0.3miles (a 2min drive) away from the venue which made it easy for all of our guests at the end of the evening! If you're considering Rafters Venue I would absolutely recommend going with them! Quality and care of their service was wonderful as we were not just treated as "another couple", but showed so much kindness and respect. It is because of Rafters Venue that we were able to have the wedding reception of our dreams! I wish I could live the day over and over again. Thank you, Rafters!!! We love you!!
