Hi! I'm Rachel, an intimate wedding and elopement photographer. If you are looking for a personal and adventurous experience from start to finish, I'm your girl. Alaska is my home state and I am passionate about sharing the beauty and wilderness of Alaska with couples. I artistically capture the natural moments throughout your day, and I'm committed to being the photographer you need. You should be able to enjoy being in love on your wedding day, and when you look at the images after.
My goal is to make the planning stages simple and the day of your wedding relaxed and stress free. The photographs of your day will be natural, documentary, and artistic from the big picture to the details. You'll feel comfortable and at ease because I have an outgoing and peaceful personality that makes the process easy and fun. And if you're looking for videography, my husband works with me to offer beautiful highlight videos. We will be the support team you didn't know you needed! A Wonderful Experience
Rachel was wonderful to work with! She was the only professional vendor we booked and are so thrilled we did. Not only are the photos of our intimate elopement wedding in the Prince William Sound gorgeous, but she fit in seamlessly with our tiny 10-person wedding party. She was climbing ship stacks and into zodiacs in the rain without batting an eye. So happy we got to work with her!

INCREDIBLE photographer, experience, and photos!
Having Rachel as our photographer was absolutely phenomenal! From our very first phone call we could tell how invested she was in getting to know us as a couple and the story of our relationship, wanting to provide as personal of an experience as possible. It's so clear that Rachel cares deeply about making sure we had a relationship with her, that we were comfortable around one another and just having a blast throughout every session (engagement, wedding, AND day-after adventure!).
We appreciate the balance she had between posing us as well as just capturing candid moments during our sessions, listening to what ideas we had for the photos but also using her own experience to guide the sessions overall and making sure every moment counted.
We're so grateful for her flexibility in working with us when weather and day-of timeline didn't go perfectly (when does it ever?!), her communicativeness throughout our whole wedding season to make sure everyone was on the same page, and her genuineness that made us feel like friends rather than we were just working together. We would absolutely jump at the opportunity to work with her radiant self again in the future. =)

So worth it!
Rachel and her husband Ben were the perfect choice to trust with our wedding photos! They ran around with us in the rain ALL DAY and were nothing but excited for us, while capturing countless perfect photographs. Rachel was a breeze to work with ahead of time - just a text message away - and incredibly helpful for this not-so-girly girl! She helped me think about some things ahead of time that I never would have thought of, but were such sweet touches for my family and friends! If you’re considering booking Rachel for your photographer, do yourself the favor and go for it. You will not be disappointed!

Working w Rachel was a dream, I couldn’t have image a more perfect photographer and person to spend the day with. She has such a great vibe and makes not only your day, but planning from the beginning at ease. She’s very knowledgeable and helpful when needed with recommendations. Rachel is amazing at capturing not only the picture perfect moments, but candid so beautifully. You definitely get more than you pay for. Through the wedding planning and after, she’s great w following up/process of pictures. Thank you again Rachel for making our day that much more special and giving us more than enough beautiful pictures to last us a life time.

Amazing experience and fun personality.
Rachel was amazing, super easy to work with. She took some beautiful photos of our wedding. She had a list of photo ideas and she made is really easy and quick to get everything we wanted. And during the wedding and reception she was able to take a ton of excellent pictures, while blending in with everything. I really enjoyed the experience 10/10 would use her again.

Incredible Experience
Rachel Struve Photography epitomizes excellence. Rachel captured our engagement photos, and her husband joined her to photograph our wedding. They were extremely friendly, kind, fun & easy to work with, FLEXIBLE and professional. Most importantly, their work is so, incredibly beautiful. Laid back and beautiful
Rachel and her husband were truly amazing. Not only did they do our engagement photos in Alaska but then they were completely on board to travel to Texas for our wedding. Rachel took extra care of little things the day of the wedding like helping us getting ready and run extra errands around between groomsmen and bridesmaids. She is wonderfully priced and does beautiful work. I have loved sharing and printing our photos with friends and family.
