Rachel took our engagement photos and shot our wedding - her approach trying to capture candids and less posed photos is awesome. She does a good job of getting people to laugh, which make for really fun pictures. Everyone in our family and wedding party were really impressed by her. The moment my husband proposed I knew we had to book Rachel ASAP. I couldn't get married without having her photos, and no one else would be good enough after seeing her work. We just got our album back from our wedding yesterday, and seeing the photos is like reliving the best day of our life over and over again. Rachel is able to put up with crazy large groups of people, annoying groomsman, and stress of running around all day to capture a large wedding. Everyone that got the chance to work with her was so impressed with her professionalism and ability to direct groups to get the perfect shot. I met Rachel briefly almost two years ago at a church retreat. Even before she mentioned that she was a photographer, I could tell she was an artist at heart with an eye for beauty and a personality of gold. After getting engaged in August, I knew exactly who I wanted taking our engagement photos. From start to finish, Rachel made the experience even better than I could have imagined. She knew exactly how to make my fiancé and I relax, feel comfortable, laugh and focus on each other while also giving us clear directions and suggestions that felt natural and romantic.

We absolutely loved working with Rachel for our wedding (and engagement shoot and bridal shoot!) and we cannot recommend her enough. I was nervous about taking photos because I can be pretty shy in front of a camera, but Rachel made me feel so comfortable and kept us laughing the whole time (which was so so important to us). She also goes above and beyond to help you create your perfect day and answered any and all of my questions and help in any way to she can. She is the perfect blend of being incredibly professional, while also making you feel like she is one of your close friends. And I don't know where to begin to compliment her photography.
