My husband and I hired Pure Decadence Pastries to make our wedding cake. I started by emailing Heidi with pictures of what we wanted and the size of cake we were looking for. She was quick to respond and we set up a time to do a cake tasting. The tasting was amazing! She had so many flavors of cake and frostings and fillings to choose from. We chose our flavors and gave her a hard copy of the type of cake we were looking for. She took notes and a payment from us and we were on our way. The day of the wedding, my dad went down and picked up the cake and it looked PERFECT! It was everything we asked for. When we cut into the cake at our reception, it tasted amazing, just like at the tasting. The only issue I had was a slight lack of communication. I emailed her the week before the wedding to confirm the order and let her know my dad would be the one picking up the cake and she never responded to the email. This did make me a little nervous, but the cake was ready and perfect at pick up time. She has amazing treats at her shop and she does amazing custom orders! I would recommend her to any one looking for an afternoon treat or a larger order for an event. Thank you, Heidi!
