Overall, my experience with Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church was amazing. Their event coordinator and music director as well as the pastor I worked with were very helpful and very kind during the entire process. The church is BEAUTIFUL! If you are looking for a venue that requires no décor, this is it. When you think of the church that royalty would marry in, this is it - stone walls, wooden architectural elements, stained glass windows, a long center isle, and a huge organ fill the space. Throughout the planning process, you will meet with the wedding coordinator to design the flow of your wedding as well as the programs (they are printed by the church for a charge). You also meet with the music director and hand select your music for the processional, soloists, exit, etc. The only negative to the music selection is that the church requires that you use classical or Biblical/spiritual music only. Know this going into it so you won't be disappointed. You will also meet with your pastor a few times and are required to do an all-day Saturday marriage counseling session. My husband and I appreciated this, but again, it's good to know this up front in case this is something you do not want. This church also allows any denomination to marry here, but since they do allow this, the service is very organized and the policies are very strict. In other words, you will conduct the ceremony according to a strict guideline of traditional rules. I was okay with this, but again, something good to know up front.
