PTG Catering catered our wedding at Highlands Mansion in May of 2024.

We are an out of town couple, and Gil was wonderful to work with. The food was delicious and the desserts were beautiful. The staff was kind and professional. The table settings were great... we had no complaints!

PT&G was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was fantastic.

If I could give Gil and his amazing team at PTG 10 stars, I would. I had about 5 or 6 proposals from different caterers, and had an immediate comfort level with Gil. His prices are extremely reasonable, (seriously. extremely.), and the food... oh my god! Every single person raved about the food. He was very responsive, and dealt with my family and requests in stride, and that alone should warrant a 5 star review! His staff was so friendly, and SO attentive. It felt like they anticipated my needs at every turn. I can lean into the control freak territory pretty easily, but I had no problem letting Gil make decisions. Suffice it to say that picking them was an absolute no-brainer. The food is one of the only things about your wedding that people remember, and trust that they will make it truly memorable. I'm STILL getting people commenting on how good the food was!

I wish I could give PTG and Gil more than 5 stars. The food was exquisite, Gil was endlessly patient and professional, and at 6 months after my wedding, I am still hearing from guests how amazing the food was. They also staffed our open bar which was a hit all evening.
But, what made Gil and PTG so invaluable to me was how, when it looked like we were going to have to cut our guest list by a 1/3 because it was just too much money, Gil renegotiated the price so that all of our family and friends were able to attend. I 100% promote Gil and PTG and I hope that many other brides get to work with this incredible team.

PTG was the caterer for our wedding at Brandywine Manor House, and our guests have not stopped talking about the food. The appetizers during cocktail hour were absolutely amazing (get the lamb chops... trust me!!). There was a pasta course, which was delicious. And the four entree choices were to die for. My father personally sampled three of the four! The best filet, salmon, chicken, and crab cakes we've ever had, at a wedding or otherwise.

Gil is an absolute pro, and pleasure to work with... He worked with us to figure out the perfect menu to make our day spectacular (and our budget manageable), and will make sure the day is everything you want and more!! You cannot go wrong with PTG.

Gil and PTG caterers was the most wonderful caterer we have ever experienced for any even we have ever attended!!! This caterer and his staff are committed to working with clients to accomodate any budget and will not disappoint. The food is EXCELLENT...out of this world...and your guests will NOT leave hungry. The staff was ectremely attentive to every detail and everyone was so friendly and made our special day even more special than we could have ever expected! We did not have to worry about any detail. Guests are still commenting on the excellent service and food..everyone is still full! We cannot say enough about our experience with this caterer. Many guests continued to ask for his contact info for both personal and corporate catering..many want to use his services for their upcoming events. Gil and his staff are so personable, generous and thorough in everything they do. You will not be disappointed!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Gil was A-MA-ZING! My husband and I had spoken with multiple catering companies and met with three. Gil went ABOVE AND BEYOND what any other caterer did. Our tasting with him was not just a few samples, or bites of food, it was about a 5 course meal. He served us more food than we could have imagined, and everything that wasnt eaten, he packed up and sent home with us. We were served FULL meals, vs. other catering companies that served us one mini crab cake each, or a one piece of chicken to share. After that tasting, we knew he was the one!

From then on, he just got better. Accommodating is not even the word.. He worked so closely with my dad and I, working within our price range, accommodating the type of food we wanted, etc. Gil NEVER says no. Everything is "well make it happen." Him and his wife are so adorable and work great together.

The most feedback I get from our guests is "the food was amazing!" "That is the most food I ever had at any wedding." Everytime we chose something to have in the cocktail hour, Gil would recommend more. Every other caterer we met with gave us the "choose 6, and everything after that is more money." Gil let us choose from SO many appetizers and just "threw some extra in."

I found that most catering companies do weddings because it's their business. Gil does this because he loves food and it's his passion. He does not treat this like a business transaction, but an opportunity for him to make people happy with his food. Of all my vendors, I truly loved working with Gil the most. A week before the wedding, Gil asked to do a walk through of our venue so he would be completely prepared for the day. We met him at the venue and spent over an hour walking through everything with him and planning out the set up. He was so pro active!

I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!! You will NOT be disappointed.

Wow! Gil (the owner) and his wife LuAnn are terrific! Gil is sooooo attentive to your every request. His food is all fresh and homemade. Most caterers offer 6 hors d'oeuvres. Gil gave us a dozen . . . and then added a few more just days before our event. (No extra charge!) PTG gave us Filet for the price others were charging for chicken. His staff was also terrific. They were all well trained to do anything to make the guests happy. The dessert pastry table was fabulous along with the ice cream bar. It was also nice that Gil passed along extra items (like our ice sculpture) at cost and even referred a bakery for wedding cake at his cost. Overall we felt that the food was amazing for a wedding, the staff was great and Gil was a pleasure to work with. Our guests are still talking about the food at our affair weeks later. Highly recommend!

Gil was wonderful to work with. First of all, we were blown away by how delicious the food was at the taste testing. We told him what our budget was and he said he could make food, service, place settings, and everything fit within that amount. And he delivered! We chose a buffet and there was more than enough food for everyone. The food was wonderful and the staff was very courteous.
