The Promont House is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I were able to book the venue about a month before our wedding, and Kim and her staff were more than accommodating. Decorations aren't needed, but they enhance the natural beauty of the land and house. We had such an amazing wedding, and it was incredibly easy going. Definitely would recommend hosting your next event here whether it be a wedding, wedding shower, baby shower, or other event! Will update with photos!

Our wedding ceremony at Promont was glorious! Robyn and the docents were accommodating and wonderfully kind. The house and grounds are magnificent just as they are. Go for a tour, you'll fall in love with the look and feel of the place!

This was the perfect place for my dream wedding. The location is an absolute hidden gem and the staff was so kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a very intimate and aesthetically-pleasing wedding. Very affordable and lots of space for close friends and family.

I just had my wedding here last weekend. It was absolutely beautiful! I fell in love with the venue as soon as I saw it. My guests had a great time. Everything went very well. They are very flexible and accommodating. If you book them you just have to follow up to make sure they receive your payment. Also, they are still fairly new at doing weddings. They did a great job, but were a little disorganized at times. Robyn, the event coordinator, is a sweetheart!

The Promont House is undoubtedly beautiful and was a great place to have a wedding. The aesthetics are unlike any other venue nearby and it is very affordable in comparison. I would still definitely recommend booking here.
My only recommendation is make sure you are able to stick up for yourself and check for hidden fees. Kim originally told us it would be $1,000 for everything, tables and chairs included. We paid in cash, in full and signed the contract. About a month before the wedding she called and said we owe an extra $600 for "yard work". The land had a bunch of mole holes that were promised to be gone before our wedding, but it seems the extra $600 went to nothing as there were still holes everywhere... which made it very hard to set up a ceremony and reception without the chairs and tables being wobbly... and were in multiple photos. We were told we had to have a tent for an outside wedding and then we were sent an estimate of $2,400 to rent out the tent, tables and chairs after we were told they were included. Telling someone they will need to give $3,000 extra, one month before the wedding, after they already paid in full and signed the contract, is absurd (and we will remember this stressful feeling forever)
The one thing we relied on the coordinator to do was provide the silverware. We asked and she confirmed there would be enough for 120, but that was not the case.... only had 60 and people had to reuse their silverware.
I do think the price and the aesthetics still make this venue worth it. You just have to be very outspoken and stand up for yourself. Overall, the Promont made for a beautiful venue and it looks amazing in the photos. The guests loved it and enjoyed the free tour as well. It's very unique and very affordable and there are so many options to make it your own, or leave it as is with minimal decorations. This is a very memorable venue and we do not regret booking here!
