We had the best experience working with this cake maker for our wedding. She had cake tasting cakes ready to go so quickly and really made our wedding cake perfect. When we had some modifications we wanted to make to the cake before the big day, she was super accommodating and made our cake vision come to life! It also tasted DELICIOUS. If you are a lemon person, her lemon cake with lemon curd inside is incredible. It was the first flavor my husband and I agreed on - we instantly looked up at each other and stated, "this is the one!" She's great to work with and the cakes are amazing.

Had Heather make our macarons for my daughter’s wedding. They were so good the only thing I would do different would be is order more next time!

Heather is so wonderful, she is always very responsive. Her cake is always delicious (I use her for all birthday cakes) and she always does an amazing job replicating a Picture of what I want. She even came out to cut the cake for our wedding which was so great because that elevated stress on family to cut the cake for us.

Charlie & I wanted a mirror glaze cake. Heather made the comment that she had never tried that style but she was willing to try. She pulled it off beyond our expectations. It was beautiful and we had so many compliments. We also had Heather make up some cupcakes. Ummm ummm ummm they are so good and so many options. Since that time we've had Heather make 5 birthday cakes as well. It's such a pleasure to just send a message and know that things will be handled. I trust her to do what she says.

Heather made our cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they turned our AMAZING! She went above and beyond my expectations and couldn't get enough compliments from our guests on how tasty they were. My husband isn't a huge desserts guy but he ate plenty of cake and cupcakes over the weekend 🙂 I highly recommend Playful Cupcaketions for any type of event!

Heather was wonderful to work with! We had some event changes with our May wedding due to Covid & she was so great with the helping us with the changes we made. All of our guests absolutely loved the cupcakes and raved about how delicious they were. I can honestly say they were the best I've tasted. I highly recommend the mimosa and peanut butter chocolate cupcakes! The frosting is amazing! She also made wedding mints which are my favorite! I would highly recommend working with Heather for your wedding or any event! She was awesome to work with and the cupcakes were delicious! If we have another event in the Spirit Lake or Okoboji area, Heather is who we will call!!

Heather is amazing. She makes beautiful cakes just how you imagine them. And the TASTE is amazing. We had so many comments on how good the cupcakes were. There are so many options and she will do exactly what you want. She was so easy to work with and helped us every step of the way in making our choices. It was great not having to worry about it on our big day. She worked great with our decorator as well. She made it so easy and everything was so beautiful. We highly recommend Playful Cupcaketions. Heather did our wedding cake and not only did it look absolutely stunning, it was the best cake we’ve ever had (many wedding guests compliment the cake also!) We had a three tier chocolate cake with white buttercream frosting. Heather made our vision come true by working with the florists to place some fresh flowers on the cake. For the guests, we did 7 sheet cakes. Chocolate chocolate, vanilla vanilla, strawberry and champagne and chocolate marshmallow. Heather is so easy to work with, delivered the cakes day of and displayed them beautifully!

We booked Heather to do our wedding cake and cupcakes. She was amazing to work with throughout the whole process. We got to taste a huge variety of her flavors before choosing what we wanted for the wedding. It was so hard to choose because they were all amazing! Not only did they taste great, but they looked awesome. I had so many compliments. We highly recommend her, and will use her for future events!

My Husband and I highly recommend Playful Cupcaketios for any event you need a cake for. We used Heather for our wedding cake and it was the best cake we have ever had. She really went above and beyond our expectations. Everything from the design to the pink velvet flavor was great. The day before our wedding we were concerned that our cake stand wasn't going to be big enough for the cake and Heather opened her doors and allowed us to come test the stand with the cake.
