I used Picaboo to create my flush mount 11x14 wedding album with over 60 pages. With my Amazon deal of paying $250 for a $500 online gift card code, this album cost me just under $1000.
Prior to creating my album, I read all the negative reviews on other sites like weddingbee about Picaboo. However, no one reviewed the flush mount album (given the amount of money it costs). Well, let me tell you, I'm glad I took the plunge!
Ease of use was fantastic. Super fast uploads and the website stored my album. No need to download software. They had a great selection of backgrounds but I mostly used my photos as a background (filled up 2 pages). Only issue I had would be when uploading, the button to upload them would be grayed out. When that happened, I just refreshed the page.
Actual album: gorgeous! It came extremely well bubble wrapped in the box. It then was inside a decorative black storage box. Inside was my leather album with a microfiber dust cover that fits quite snugly. Pages were cardboard thick and had a beautiful silver metallic shine on the outside pages (didnt expect that!) which matched the silver lettering that was on the cover. The quality of the images were superb. It looked exactly how it looked on my computer screen. I had no need to edit the photos online to make it lighter like one review mentioned on a YouTube video.
I'm pretty sure that if I had this professionally done, it would have cost me several thousand dollars. I'm so glad I was able to have this beautiful album for around $900+.
While I'm pretty good at designing, I'm no expert. But with the picaboo templates for the page layouts, designing my album was a breeze.
So if you have the patience, you can have a beautiful wedding album using Picaboo.
FYI it took me 3 days to design the book. It took a full week to create the actual book. Then it took 2 days for it to ship and arrive at my house.
