Phyllis created our wedding cake for 150 people for our August wedding in downtown Cleveland. Her cakes are not only gorgeous, but also delicious. After we had our tasting of five flavors, we told her we were interested in one more flavor, and she had no issues making up a new tasting cake and sending it along via our wedding planner. She also worked with us on the design, coming up with the perfect custom look after we sent her photos of several different things we we liked. Lastly, she even included an extra cake top level to keep for our 1 year anniversary. She's great, and her cakes are even better!

We got a chocolate blackout cake for my son's second birthday. It was amazing. Many guests commented that it was the best cake they had ever had. It has a spectacular shiny chocolate ganache covering layers of decadent & moist cake and mousse. A must-have for any chocolate lover. She also made a custom elephant topper that was adorable. Every guest took many pictures and couldn't believe the cake tasted even better than it looked.

I recently entailed her services for a bridal shower. I was looking specifically for someone who makes petits fours. It turns out she is one of the few people who makes them in the Cleveland area. Additionally, she makes them the right way. I had sampled some others that fell apart. Phyllis is meticulous in both her baking skills and her artistry. I ordered the petits fours glaces with the bride & groom's monogram piped on top. They were gorgeous. There were many compliments. I also ordered the lemon meringue tartlets and lace cookies filled with chocolate ganache. All were impeccable to look at and taste. For who values true baking artistry, she is the woman to order from. I have already received several requests from guest for her information because they, too, loved her work.

If this wasn't enough, I am a repeat customer because she is worth it.

I can't say enough about Phyllis Lester. The wedding cake she made for my daughter's wedding was superb. We had given her a photo from Pinterest and she copied it perfectly. The cake was moist and flavorful. Simply delicious. She also includes, in every order, an extra top-tier, boxed separately, to be enjoyed on the first anniversary. She thinks of everything. What a delight to work with.

Phyllis of Phyllis Lester Designs was phenominal. She was very professional in every sense. She first had myself and my bridesmaids come to a cake taste testing just for us. We eventually decided on her "signature cake & design" for our wedding cake. Everyone loved the cake. I had never tasted a wedding cake that was so delicious and moist. Being a chocolate lover I had my heart set on a chocolate cake. But after tasting Phyllis's chiffon cake with lemon & raspberry filling, I chose that. As I have already said everyone loved the cake.
