My wife and I had an incredible experience working with Peter. He was very involved in the planning experience, helping us walk through every detail of our schedule and asking us thoughtful questions about the type of vibe we were trying to go for. On the day itself he was able to fade into the background when needed or completely take charge and round up our large family for group photos. We got the finished gallery last week and I could not believe how great everything came out. Would 100% recommend hiring him, you will not regret it!

Peter & Peg are the best team to be with you on your big day. They are the perfect balance of professional and personable. They both give direction, have great eyes (particularly when it comes to the natural world) and are open to whatever vision you may have for whatever shot/angle you prefer. They are calming presences to be around on an otherwise hectic day. After the personal couple photos, we barely even noticed they were around (which was perfect)! Our photos came out better than we could have imagined. Our main objective was to capture the emotion and the fun of the day and they exceeded that goal with flying colors. The results are stunning and beaming with all of the feels we had on the best day of our lives. We could not recommend Peter & Peg more!

To say that having Peter and his wife Peg as our wedding photographers was amazing would be an understatement. They were seriously the best choice that we could have made! They have a style that made us feel comfortable during all of the "day of" photos, like we were just hanging out with friends, and leading up to the wedding day, Peter was incredibly accommodating, answering our (many!) questions and even getting us a second photographer when we decided that would be useful based on our timeline a few weeks before. We were very clear that we wanted a photographer who would be an integrated part of our day, one who would not interrupt our time with friends and family to take staged photographs, and Peter and Peg were so wonderful at capturing the moments as they happened throughout the night. And the pictures we got back (just a week and a half later I might add!) are just incredible--Peter truly was able to capture the joy and love that was our wedding day, and I know that we will treasure the photos for the rest of our lives!

Peter was a pleasure to work with. He made sure to capture all the important moments of our wedding and coordinated all the groups we needed pictures with very well. Our photos have come out great and are a perfect way to remember our day. He offers a photobooth which I highly recommend! Our friends and family loved having the option to take fun and goofy pictures all throughout the evening. I absolutely recommend working with Peter for your wedding. What a wonderful experience it was working with Peter Demuth Photography! Peter and his wife Peg captured our special day perfectly. They were prompt, prepared and professional. When doing photo shoots, Peter was very good at directing everyone so that the best photos could be captured, and when he was shooting our ceremony and reception, he blended into the background so well, you almost forgot he was there. My husband and I asked to get some shots in nature, and between the ceremony and reception, Peter and Peg even trekked into the woods with us with all their equipment to get some fantastic shots.
Peter Demuth Photography offers one of the best photobooths I have ever seen. The backdrop selection was amazing, there were great props, and Peg personally manned the photobooth throughout the reception. This means that she was able to tell the wedding guests if one of them was outside of the range of the camera, and also to capture the image when people were actually ready. The camera was high quality, so the images were clear and crisp. They handed out a card with the link at the wedding, and the photos were available by the next day. The photos came out so fantastically, we honestly consider the photos from the photobooth to be like having a second photographer.
I would recommend Peter Demuth Photography for anyone looking for a photographer. I’m so happy that my special day will live on forever through these spectacular photos.

My wife and I could simply not have made a better choice for a photographer. Peter has so much experience and it is abundantly clear through his kind demeanor and his professionalism. Peter could also make for a great weatherman! Jokes aside, with Peter my wife and I were able to take pictures for our engagement shoot in Central Park even with spots of rain. Of course, they turned out beautifully. It rained on my wedding day as well - but we had the secret weapon of Peter - so no sweat, our pictures look fantastic :)

Peter and Peg were so wonderful and made our wedding day in Montauk, NY perfect. We had the opportunity to meet Peter before the wedding for an engagement shoot. He took the time to get to know us personally, our style and what is important to us on the big day. The day of the wedding he truly listened to everything. He was very easy going and flexible while still proving guidance and their professional opinion. We wound up getting some additional first look photos in a spot Peter suggested and they are some of our favorites! He and Peg captured so many moments and were in all the action, yet at the same time we did not even notice they were there. We could not be happier with the experience we had with Peter and Peg from start to finish and the pictures are just gorgeous. We highly recommend you book them for your big day and you will not regret it!

We enjoyed working with Peter from the first time we spoke on the phone. It was important to us to work with a photographer that shared our vision of capturing authentic and beautiful photos that we would love for many years. Peter is easy going, personable and confident. He responded quickly to emails and all communication. We did not have to worry about photography the day of our wedding because we developed a plan with Peter prior to the wedding day. We appreciated that Peter was willing to photograph in settings we requested but also, more importantly, used his expertise to find other locations to create the most perfect images. We are impressed with the timely production of our photo gallery.

We knew what we wanted in our wedding photographer from the get-go: someone chill, fun and creative who could capture the essence of the day without making anything feel too staged. We wanted our photographer to take “real” photo’s and what I mean is nothing too dramatic, just something real, candid and timeless. Peter Demuth (along with the help of his awesome wife Peg) was all we could have asked for in a wedding photographer and more! He and his wife felt like friends! They were so professional, so unobtrusive but also so efficient (even when the weather started acting up) and they can coordinate amazing family group shots like nobody’s business! We had so many people come up to us and compliment how amazing our photographer was, how he took thousands of shots yet never seemed to be “in the way” and stayed throughout the entire wedding. We truly loved having Peter and Peg there to capture it all! Then we got our photographs and WOW. It was exactly what we wanted. They actually exceeded our expectations. We can relive the entire day looking through them all. So many great candids and so many phenomenal portraits. We could not be more pleased. We were so glad we chose Peter to photograph our wedding day... could not ask for a better photographer and person!
