My husband and I fell in love with the Penthouse because of the view. We also loved the space itself. It was a blank slate for us to make our wedding reflect exactly who we are. Now let me talk about their staff. Tasha is and was a DREAM! She made everything extremely easy and stress free which is exactly what every bride needs! Brides have enough stress on planning everything and the last thing anyone needs is a venue making your life living hell!!! She worked with me on everything! She answered every call, text, and email I ever sent to her asking the million questions every bride typically has!
The staff that the Penthouse has the day of the wedding were extremely professional. You have to buy alcohol from them and use their bartenders. This was the best thing ever! They were able to make anything you can think off and delicious! Besides the view, all my guest talked about how great drinks were prepared and tasted. The selection, service and craftsmanship were amazing. Even the bathroom attendants were amazing! They were very pleasant and welcoming! If the view does not sell you on this venue, Tasha and the rest of the staff at the Penthouse will!
We were able to have our dream wedding even during this crazy pandemic we are currently living through! I cannot thank Tasha and the staff enough! You guys made planning and our evening BEYOND WORDS! Thank you Thank you Thank you!

This venue is absolutely STUNNING! When we were looking for venues we knew we had found the one when we walked in to this one. People still cannot stop talking about the views at our wedding reception. If you’re looking for a unique venue, this is the one. We wanted the out door aspect for out wedding but the security of a Plan B incase of rain that is very typical down here in South Florida. The retractable roof on the terrace saved our lives when it rained on wedding day. Plus the girls, Melissa and Tasha, are so friendly and helpful when it comes to making sure the venue has everything in order for the big day! If I did it all over again I would still have my reception at this venue.

With the help of my wedding planner we toured this place in 2018-2019 for our (originally) Nov 2020 wedding. It was exactly what we were looking for. With a view of the skyline on one side and the river, bar, and boats on the other it had the perfect mix of Miami. Definitely hidden away from view, you can't see the party happening from the street.

Inside it was a clean canvas for whatever you might have in mind. Tall ceiling, large floor to ceiling glass/windows, and white walls, this venue was easily transformed to the tropical paradise of our dreams.

The women's bathroom was great! (It even has a lovely throne-like cushioned seat that I am sure ended up as a background to a few bathroom selfies. It also was the perfect spot to get help putting my garter on before the toss.)

The retractable awning helped as, true to Miami, the rain came down right after cocktail hour.

The furniture was also amazing and modern.

I only have a few cons to list.
- The price. I mean, we do expect to pay a lot for weddings in general, but this venue took a big chunk of my budget. So that is something to be aware of.
-The location. I LOVE the views. Miami is my hometown and will always have a place in my heart. But literally a block down the road is a stretch of tents for the homeless. That has nothing to do with the venue itself, but it is worth noting.
-Covid. I had a hard time changing my original date with the venue. Of all my vendors, The Penthouse was the only one to give me problem. I had to make a few calls and cry on the phone to even get the offer to change my date. I was never going to back out of the contract and had already put down my deposit long before Covid hit. But I was told repeatedly that because they were still open for business and could host events, I wasn't able to change my date. My husband's father is immunocompromised after a transplant and my mother was working the COVID wings at the hospital as a nurse, just to name a few of the big obstacles within the family. Thankfully, though, they eventually conceded and allowed me to move it to the end of June 2021.

Overall, I wouldn't change it at all. With The Penthouse I was able to create the wedding of my dreams. Here's to June 26, 2021.
