Booking with Paytience was a decision that I made for my wedding that I would make again and again. I plan to hire her for my upcoming maternity shots, too. She was kind, understanding, accommodating, and respectful to our special day- while capturing the exact pictures I had hoped for! I will look back at these photos with so much joy and love. My husband and I feel so beautiful in them. The candid shots are like getting to watch the best pieces of our wedding from outside. Planning a wedding is really hard, booking with PRS was a very easy decision and I recommend anyone to make that easy decision for their special occasions, too!

I signed a contract with Paytience Rose Studio in September 2025 for my birthday session photo shoot to be done October 5th 2025. Before I signed the contract I made sure that the photographer was comfortable with a 9 day turn around, which she said she was. We scheduled a one hour session at 10am at a studio. The photographer texted me at 9:41am saying, “I think I’m running a little but behind but trying to hurry” which was fine I’m patient. I arrived at the studio in full glam, dressed up with heels at 9:50am. Shortly after 10am, she called me and said she had a wedding shoot the day before and didn’t charge her batteries after and wanted to reschedule the shoot completely. I was extremely busy in October and the 5th was the only day I could do. She told me she would refund the deposit I made for that studio since the studio we originally booked was full the whole day. She made the decision to call a different studio all the way in Shawnee and we were able to get in at 1pm the same day. After crying nonstop I had to fix up my makeup and wait for 1pm. I get to the studio in Shawnee at 12:50pm and wait….. until 1:20pm she finally shows up. We do the shoot it was extremely awkward and it definitely shows up in the photos. The shoot ended at 2:05pm-ish. In her contract it states “should photographer arrive late to session, photographer is obligated to provide refund of prorated amount of time missed, or extend the session to accommodate original time length agreement” on 10/19/25 after I received my photos I messaged her to see when I would get my refund from the studio we didn’t even use and my prorated amount since she was 20 minutes late and I have never received a text back to this day. Also didn’t mention I had birthday balloons the blew out of my car when I opened the door in Shawnee because it was extremely windy that day. It was truly an experience from hell. And I waited this long to write a review because I know how it is in the world and I’m a very gracious person but my friends kept telling me other people need to know my experience with this photographer so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
