We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful. We eat here all the time when on vacation and they have excellent food at reasonable prices. We called ahead to ask what a good time would be to bring a party of 25 and got in without a problem. The service is outstanding and the sweet tea is the best! If you are looking for a laid back place for a small destination wedding you cannot go wrong with the 'PIT'. Our guests are still talking about how great the food/atmosphere was!

The PIT, as it is known to locals, is a wonderfully laid-back, casual atmosphere for receptions and parties. The staff is excellent, as is the chef, and the location among the trees can't be beat. The food is fantastic, especially the crabcakes, and pricing is very reasonable.
