About
Hello! My name is Paul Melocoton,
I'm first and foremost, a husband to an amazing wife and father to two gorgeous kids. My wife and kids are my inspiration. I live in the wonderful City of Rancho Cucamonga in Southern California. Taking pictures first started as a hobby for me, and I quickly began to discover an avid love for the art of photography. It didn't take long before I was obsessed, and I've fallen in deep! Since then, I've spent countless hours researching, practicing, and trying out new things. So, I did what made the most sense for me - I've now decided to make my passion of photography into a profession.I'm a very dedicated person (and somewhat of a perfectionist). I'm proud to say that I've exceeded everyone of my customers expectations. You will be happy with my work!
Here is a little bit of information about my photography style and philosophy:
I specialize in photojournalism type of photography, which means I shy away from the cramped studio environment and prefer to shoot on location (at a park, at the beach, at your house, etc.). I do traditional posed shots, but I especially shine when it comes to candid and genuine moments. In fact, some of my best photos were taken between the "posed shots". I like to use natural light, but when the occasion requires it, I also use artificial lighting.
My photo shoot sessions typically take about 2 hours. I have an abundance of patience and I never rush. I strive to keep everyone as comfortable as possible in order to keep the shoot as natural as possible. Some of my customers, after a session with me, have mentioned that they didn't realize photo shoots were so much fun.
I also include Photoshop work and advanced post processing work for each shoot. I can do all sorts of photographic effects such as textures, color isolation, and monotones. What you get at the end of all this is a CD will all your high definition, full size photos or you can also download your pictures directly from your own customized online gallery.
If you would like more information or have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to contact me through the "Contact" page or you can email me at paul@paularoids.com. We can meet and discuss your shoot over some coffee.
Thank you again for visiting , and I hope to hear from you soon.
