Paul and Jewel were hands down the best.....The A Team! From the moment I met with Jewel I knew she would be the perfect photographer for my daughter's wedding....my daughter agreed. She and Paul over exceeded our expectations and captured our once in a lifetime event with the most beautiful memories. We are more than thankful for the gorgeous pictures. We felt as if they were a part of our family....just knowing exactly what we wanted...and sharing our joy.

Jewel was a wonderful photographer to work with. My husband and I eloped in Big Sur, California and being from Indiana we had to do the planning by telephone with Jewel. She was professional and had many wonderful ideas where to have photos taken. When we finally met in person she was polite and flexible with photo shoot time since rain was coming in the afternoon and ceremony was at 3:00 p.m., she kindly suggested to take the photos earlier and return later to shoot the ceremony. We could not have picked a better photographer for our special day. We received beautiful pictures and she was reasonably priced for a destination elopement. I highly recommend Paul & Jewel Studios you will be extremely happy.

I had Jewel photograph my small wedding ceremony and it was delightful to have her there! She was very helpful leading up to the wedding. (even helping with suggestions for ceremony spots when I was still looking!) She was also very nice, quick to respond to any question or e-mail I sent, and professional. I wish I lived in California year round because I would love to hire her in the future to do family portraits. Overall a great experience and I absolutely love my photos!

Paul and Jewel are AMAZING!!!! I was referred to them by a coworker at my previous job. After meeting with several photographers that did not seem sincere or even wanting to do our wedding (maybe because it was on a Monday), me and my husband meat with Paul and Jewel and immediately fell in love with their sweet and open personalities. Throughout my wedding planning Jewel was available at all times and would respond to all my questions almost immediately. Both me and my husband are SUPER camera shy and these two, being an adorable couple themselves, made me and my husband feel so comfortable and at ease while taking our photos. They talk to you and really get to know you as a person and as a couple. They made sure our likes and our personalities were in all our photos. I would recommend Paul and Jewel to ANYONE who needs a photographer.

I knew right after speaking to Jewel on the phone that Paul & Jewel Studios was the way to go! My husband was incredibly nervous about having professional photos taken and thought the photographers would over pose us and the photos would come out stuffy. However, when we had our engagement session, Paul and Jewel were such a fun and lovely couple it felt like we were hanging out with our friends. The photos were absolutely gorgeous, too!
When the wedding day came around my husband was no longer nervous about taking photos. We have had so many compliments on how they turned out. Paul and Jewel were able to capture all of our intimate candid moments along with all of the standard wedding party and family shots. We have ordered prints and a large canvas from their studio and the quality is really fantastic. I can't wait to order our wedding album from them!

On top of being the sweetest, friendliest couple they were also incredibly professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had along the way. Paul and Jewel Studios were outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone needing a professional photographer. My daughter chose them for her wedding in Santa Barbara. They kept things flowing nicely for family photos, which helped keep stress levels down for those of us being photographed!
When we got the whole package, we were so pleased with the quality of the photos! They caught so many of us in natural unposed conversations and photos, it seemed like Paul and Jewel were everywhere! Before, during and after the ceremony, we have so many beautiful photos that really captured the atmosphere and happiness of the day. From the beginning of the wedding plans, Paul and Jewel studios were great to work with, always corresponding quickly when we had questions about their policies, payment, etc. I was the main contact during the planning, and it really seemed to me that Paul and Jewel took a genuine interest in the whole process and enjoyed working with and getting to know my daughter and son-in-law, making sure they brought out their personalities in the photos. Paul & Jewel were wonderful and we can’t say enough great things about them. A week before the wedding, our original photographer called to tell us that she would be unable to photograph our wedding because of health reasons. She spoke to Paul & Jewel and they offered to do it for what we had agreed upon with our photographer. We live in Texas and got married in Santa Barbara so the first time I spoke to Jewel was on the phone the Wednesday before my wedding and met them for the first time the day of our wedding. The photos were stunning and exceeded our expectations. They were great to work with (very professional) and hope we can do something with them in the future. We can’t thank you enough and highly recommend them!!
