  Paul and Jewel were hands down the best.....The A Team! From the moment I met with Jewel I knew she would be the perfect photographer for my daughter's wedding....my daughter agreed. She and Paul over exceeded our expectations and captured our once in a lifetime event with the most beautiful memories. We are more than thankful for the gorgeous pictures. We felt as if they were a part of our family....just knowing exactly what we wanted...and sharing our joy.
  I would highly recommend Paul and Jewel...you will not be disappointed. I could go on and on....words are not enough.

  Jewel and Paul are such a joy to work with! From your first contact to reviving your beautiful pictures, they are professional, punctual and helpful. They take amazing photographs and really help coach you to relax and make every picture look and feel natural. I have used these two for my engagement, wedding and professional portraits. I have always been blown away by their quality of work. I cannot recommend Paul and Jewel Studios enough, I love them and know everyone else will to!

  Jewel was a wonderful photographer to work with. My husband and I eloped in Big Sur, California and being from Indiana we had to do the planning by telephone with Jewel. She was professional and had many wonderful ideas where to have photos taken. When we finally met in person she was polite and flexible with photo shoot time since rain was coming in the afternoon and ceremony was at 3:00 p.m., she kindly suggested to take the photos earlier and return later to shoot the ceremony. We could not have picked a better photographer for our special day. We received beautiful pictures and she was reasonably priced for a destination elopement. I highly recommend Paul & Jewel Studios you will be extremely happy.

  I had Jewel photograph my small wedding ceremony and it was delightful to have her there! She was very helpful leading up to the wedding.   Jewel & Paul were a dream to work with. They were able to create their magic within our budget, had great suggestions for shots and were very collaborative. You can't beat their professionalism either. Our photos are so beautiful.I can't recommend them enough!

  Paul and Jewel are AMAZING!!!! I was referred to them by a coworker at my previous job. After meeting with several photographers that did not seem sincere or even wanting to do our wedding (maybe because it was on a Monday), me and my husband meat with Paul and Jewel and immediately fell in love with their sweet and open personalities. Throughout my wedding planning Jewel was available at all times and would respond to all my questions almost immediately. Both me and my husband are SUPER camera shy and these two, being an adorable couple themselves, made me and my husband feel so comfortable and at ease while taking our photos. They talk to you and really get to know you as a person and as a couple. They made sure our likes and our personalities were in all our photos. I would recommend Paul and Jewel to ANYONE who needs a photographer.

  Paul and Jewel Studios were outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone needing a professional photographer. My daughter chose them for her wedding in Santa Barbara. They kept things flowing nicely for family photos, which helped keep stress levels down for those of us being photographed!
  When we got the whole package, we were so pleased with the quality of the photos! They caught so many of us in natural unposed conversations and photos, it seemed like Paul and Jewel were everywhere! Before, during and after the ceremony, we have so many beautiful photos that really captured the atmosphere and happiness of the day. From the beginning of the wedding plans, Paul and Jewel studios were great to work with, always corresponding quickly when we had questions about their policies, payment, etc. I was the main contact during the planning, and it really seemed to me that Paul and Jewel took a genuine interest in the whole process and enjoyed working with and getting to know my daughter and son-in-law, making sure they brought out their personalities in the photos. Everyone who we have shared the photos with has also commented on the superb quality of our photos. For a special event such as this, I would recommend Paul and Jewel studios without hesitation!

  I knew right after speaking to Jewel on the phone that Paul & Jewel Studios was the way to go! My husband was incredibly nervous about having professional photos taken and thought the photographers would over pose us and the photos would come out stuffy. However, when we had our engagement session, Paul and Jewel were such a fun and lovely couple it felt like we were hanging out with our friends. The photos were absolutely gorgeous, too!
  When the wedding day came around my husband was no longer nervous about taking photos. We have had so many compliments on how they turned out. Paul and Jewel were able to capture all of our intimate candid moments along with all of the standard wedding party and family shots. We have ordered prints and a large canvas from their studio and the quality is really fantastic. I can't wait to order our wedding album from them!
  Not only did Paul and Jewel provide us with beautiful photos, they also gave us superior service. On top of being the sweetest, friendliest couple they were also incredibly professional and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had along the way. I can not say enough wonderful things about this couple.

  Thanks to our photographer. We saw her pictures on the internet and called her via Skype from Germany to get to know each other. On our wedding day there were no problems in organization - she knew what to do and she was so nice, it felt like she was a friend joining us on this special day. She had many good ideas for locations to take photos and always had an ear for our ideas and she exactly knew how to implement them. The photos are breathtaking.

  Paul & Jewel were wonderful and we can’t say enough great things about them. A week before the wedding, our original photographer called to tell us that she would be unable to photograph our wedding because of health reasons. She spoke to Paul & Jewel and they offered to do it for what we had agreed upon with our photographer. We live in Texas and got married in Santa Barbara so the first time I spoke to Jewel was on the phone the Wednesday before my wedding and met them for the first time the day of our wedding. The photos were stunning and exceeded our expectations. They were great to work with (very professional) and hope we can do something with them in the future. We can’t thank you enough and highly recommend them!!

  We had a Bride and Groom photo session with Paul and Jewel studios, this was our 2nd time taking pictures with them. This time it was even better then the first time. We had a blast! Pictures look incredible. Will definitely be booking more sessions with them. They are brilliant and fun to work with. Turn around time for pictures was quick. We love the USB drive that the pictures arrive on.

  We loved having Jewel and Paul photograph our wedding. They were so wonderful to work with and did such a great job captuirng so many of the special moments of our big day. They were also very flexible in their photography package. We highly recommend them if you are looking for a wedding/engagement photographer.

  We had an engagement photo session with Paul and Jewel. It was our first time taking pictures with them. I found about them through LivingSocial and purchased a photo session deal.
  We had a great time! They made us feel so relaxed and the pictures came out incredible! Will deffinatley book more photo sessions with them in the future!

  Amazing engagement and wedding photography! As soon as Allen and I met Jewel at our engagement shoot I was set at ease. Jewel was laid back but gave us just enough direction so that our natural personalities came out. Needless to say, the engagement pictures were gorgeous! I’ve never been excited to see a camera before but on my wedding day I was elated when Paul & Jewel walked into our hotel. They immediately got to work and again, gave me great direction when needed but more so just faded into the background and let me have my time. At the church and after the ceremony, Jewel (who was with the girls), put together such great group shots. My bridesmaids and I had fun and laughed while we took pictures that turned out beautifully. Both of our families can be a little overwhelming when it comes to pictures, but Paul & Jewel totally took charge and it was the quickest, most organized family photo session I have ever had in my life. When we got our images in the mail I almost immediately started to cry. There were SO MANY amazing pictures!!!! I still cannot believe how many tiny little moments they caught…some of the most SPECIAL moments of the whole day were caught in photographs that we will have forever. I think that is the whole reason to hire a professional wedding photographer. I don’t think many people can say that they can instantly relive their wedding…but I am able to do that through these photographs. It’s impossible to express in words how thankful I am for the amazing photographs I have thanks to Paul & Jewel. The photos are on a level of excellence I wouldn’t have dared to dream about.

  I am delighted to have our wedding captured so beautifully! From our initial discussion of my vision to the delivery of our images, I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism, idea sharing and attention to detail. Memories of our moments together during this once in a lifetime event were captured superbly, of us, family and friends. When I first saw the photographs, I was incredibly moved by the images of our friends hugging each other after our ceremony and the happy faces of the children present playing together in the wading pool.
