Maresa was amazing. She photographed our son's rehearsal dinner. She spoke with us beforehand to understand our priorities for the evening, and then came through on them beautifully. She has a gift for capturing moments in photos that are entirely genuine and unstated and yet have a formal beauty and structure. Everyone says they want candids not posed photographs and yet you also want individually beautiful photographs that look frame-worthy. The photos we got from Maresa are both. She was completely unobtrusive and yet every major moment was documented. She made everyone look beautiful and she captured the sense of joy in the room. The bride's mother called me to rave about the pictures. I can't thank her enough.

Maresa is the perfect wedding/event photographer...she's confident in what she wants and she embeds herself in the action so that she captures the best moments, without the guests feeling self conscious or even knowing they are on camera. She's incredibly warm and natural and knows how to make her subjects comfortable.

You will fall in love with Maresa! She is creative and artistic and captures REAL emotions in her pictures. She managed to capture the most perfect moments of our wedding day, without us even realizing she was taking a picture. She truly produces the most beautiful product - you won't be disappointed! We would 1000% recommend her!

Maresa was factually one of our favorite parts of the wedding. From the planning process to the day of, she was a perfect mixture of talent and support during our wedding. We were amazed at how much she captured considering she was only one person - it was like she morphed into three people!
Our photos are stunning, candid, and honest. I love them. I would recommend Maresa to anyone who is looking for their wedding to be captured through the lens of an artist / journalist as opposed to a cliche wedding photographer.

Maresa was absolutely wonderful to work with! My husband and I got married in NYC in May. We had a church ceremony followed by drinks in Central Park and then dinner at a restaurant. Maresa was able to capture the mood of the event in all three locations. We found her very easy to work with, friendly and responsive. We got all the formal shots we needed and then tons of great candids. She even got my grandmother (who hates smiling for pictures) to laugh and captured natural and relaxed momements between us. Maresa got information from us in advance about what shots we wanted and was mindful of family dynamics. She managed to get photos from a wide variety of angles and places without being obtrusive. We could not be happier with the photographic record of our wedding day!
