Pastor Michael Haggard is an extremely kind and warm individual. He is so genuine and funny! He really took the time to get to know my fiance and me, and he asked us questions about our history. He was honest about what he could bring to the table and about what he planned to say at the ceremony. He also told us that he didn't feel it was right for him to charge to perform marriages because he saw it as one of his duties as leading a church. (We offered him a donation, anyway.)
He had great practical suggestions for us and he reminded me several times when I got nervous about what was the "right" way to do things, that this was our wedding and that things could be any way that we choose.
His love and his genuine care are evident in the effort he makes and his calming presence.
