We were able to customize exactly what we wanted, the duration, and the option to say our own vows. Matt’s delivery was executed in a respectful manner when telling our guests to please put their phones away during our ceremony to allow our guests to be in the moment.

We had the absolute honor of being married by Pastor Matt in April of 2025, and now that we’ve just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary, we can honestly say his words have stayed with us every single day.
From our very first meeting over the phone, since we were planning from out of state, Pastor Matt made us feel completely at ease and so confident in our decision. It felt like we had known him forever.
On our wedding day, he went above and beyond. At the altar, he helped calm my husband’s nerves and brought such a peaceful, steady presence to the moment. His message was so heartfelt and meaningful.
One of the things that has stuck with us most is when he said, “establish a home that puts God first. The closer you get to God, the closer you will get to each other.” We have carried that with us into our marriage and genuinely strive to live by it every day.
He ended his beautiful message by reminding us that if we wake up each morning and ask ourselves, “how can I serve my husband or wife today,” we will have a beautiful marriage. That simple but powerful advice has shaped the way we start each day, and we have fully embraced it.

Pastor Matt officiated our micro-wedding on March 28, 2026, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to lead our ceremony. From the very beginning, he was incredibly quick to respond and made the whole process feel easy and comfortable.

He scheduled a phone call with my husband and me to get to know us a bit, and we immediately picked up great vibes from him. He created such a welcoming environment that it was easy to open up and share our story. It felt like he genuinely cared about making our ceremony personal and meaningful.

On the day of the wedding, Pastor Matt arrived early and briefly went over the space and our plans with us, which helped everything feel calm and organized. He also helped us choose a beautiful verse to incorporate into the ceremony. When we originally spoke on the phone, we hadn’t decided on doing a unity ceremony yet. The day of the wedding we mentioned it to him, and he was able to seamlessly incorporate it into the ceremony as if it had been planned all along.

Pastor Matthew was fantastic. He was so easy to get to know and really took time to get to know us as well. He performed our marriage ceremony and it was so great. From our first phone call, he carefully listened to what was important to us and ensured our ceremony was perfect. Pastor Samler went above and beyond in every way. His genuine warmth, kindness, humor, and joy, was felt by everyone in attendance. Pastor Samler checked in with everyone involved in the ceremony - including elderly relatives, a 3 year old ring bearer, and the bride and groom haha! - to make sure they were all comfortable with their part. Even our professional photographer, who has been doing weddings for years, went out of his way to tell us how phenomenal Pastor Samler was - lol! - and how it seemed like he knew us for years. While we never plan on getting married again - haha! - we would hire Pastor Samler again in a heartbeat. This is a man who really cares about creating a beautiful, meaningful, and memorable wedding ceremony. As a bonus, his rate was great too!
