We booked Passion Studio for our wedding reception on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 after not quite vibing with the photographer we booked for our engagement shoot. Our first conversation was with Raymond, who was really easy to talk to and he patiently answered all of our questions. Bang, Raymond’s partner, took over as our lead photographer and even though we only met briefly, he was super easy to talk to and work with. We had an amazing experience with them and wanted to highlight some points of the day that really stuck out to us.

Starting at our hotel, the team showed up promptly at 12:00pm. We were actually surprised to see them so early that we weren’t even getting ready yet lol. They then split us up to do our getting ready pictures and video shots with the bride getting ready in the room with her sister in-law and niece, and the groom getting ready in the hotel lobby with his brother. These photos and video shots were so fun to do! They were incredibly professional the entire time and it was clear they had a plan going into this. The groom was doing trick shots on the pool table and getting debonair pictures by the hotel bar, while the bride was getting 5 star treatment in her getting ready photos in the room. The day started out really strong and we were very happy so far.

We arrived at Saratoga Springs about 2 hours before the event was to start to do our photoshoot. The photography team had clearly been here before which was a reason why we picked them, but it was clear they had a sequence of events and planned this out very well. We took photos and videos all around the venue, with classic shots on the bridge, the arches, by the creek, and in the forest area. The hardest part of taking photos is not knowing how to pose, what to do with our bodies or hands, but they made us feel very comfortable. We re-read our vows for the video and that was a blast. We had props like a giant sword (our theme was LOTR) and other accessories that were highlighted really well in our photos and videos.

Throughout the event, we were so surprised. They weren’t just taking photos, they almost acted like part of the wedding coordinator team. They helped direct traffic to what events were happening, knowing exactly where to set up lights and what parts of the event were happening when. It was like our wedding coordinator team doubled in size, and every single thing we could have asked for was granted and executed without flaw by Bang and his team. We were extremely happy and impressed with their performance and professionalism. He even correctly pinned the groom’s boutonniere when the florist and wedding coordinator couldn’t due to the thickness of the flower stems. 🙂

Although we would have loved a sneak peak, surprisingly, within two weeks of our reception, we received our full gallery of 1000+ photos! It has been absolutely wonderful reliving that magical night through the captured memories. 10/10 and we highly recommend them for your big event’s photography and videography.

We didn't have much experience being in front of the camera but the team was very patient talking us through what to do and giving us direction. On the wedding day, they did a fantastic job at keeping everything fun and lighthearted but also on track (I'm talking especially about wrangling all of the family members for the group photos!).

Turnaround time was also very prompt - we received both photography and videography results just one month after our wedding day. The photos and video turned out absolutely stunning and we couldn't be more happy with the results!

They sent us a sneak peak folder, just a few days after our wedding, and those alone seemed worth every penny. The day of the wedding, they came early and were extremely patient with me, providing tips and guiding me through their process. At the venue they were quick and quiet doing their job in the background. I did not even notice them during the ceremony or reception.

Raymond and his team are AMAZING!!! I switched photographers a few weeks before my big day, and although I was hesistant because they were a bit more expensive than my previous photographer, I can say without a doubt that they are worth every penny! Don't go cheap when it comes to your wedding, photography and videography should be a large part of your budget because they will ensure your memories will last for a lifetime. Raymond and his team went above and beyond from beginning to end, they knew our venue well and thought of different poses and backgrounds that we would've never imagined on our own. They kept us on schedule and kept it fun and enjoyable. It was not hard to keep a smile for so many pictures with these guys directing us. And the results were incredible! We can't stop looking at our photos and there are just so many to choose from that we absolutely love!!! I can't believe our package came with so many high resolution photos, you're definitely getting your money's worth because their cameras just don't stop snapping throughout the night. I've already referred them to a few of our friends who are getting married next year, and I am absolutely sure they won't be disappointed =)

We met the Passion Studios team a year and a half before our wedding at our best friends’ wedding. We had just begun our own wedding planning at that time and had not yet thought about hiring photographers/videographers yet. However, after experiencing the professionalism, kindness, and organization of the Passion Studios team, we knew right away that we wanted to hire them for our big day.

A few months later they took our engagement photos in the Bay Area at 3 beautiful locations; we intended to use these photos for our save the dates. They made us feel very comfortable and had us laughing throughout the shoot, which was helpful for great photos for our save the dates.

Throughout our planning process, I communicated with Raymond, and he was very responsive, accessible, and kind. He arranged a Zoom call with my fiancé and I the month before the wedding to go over details for our wedding day and made note of the details we asked to be covered on our wedding day.

The team was hired as vendors for a friends’ wedding which occurred 3 weeks before ours. It was a great experience working with them again, and definitely got us excited for our big day!

On our wedding day, they were attentive and even memorized the names of our large bridal party and immediate families. I think that this truly made an impact by making everyone feel so comfortable with the many photos we took that day. Since my fiancé and I had experienced working with Passion Studios three times before already, their professionalism, organization, and up-beat energy were no surprise to us.

Not only did the team capture our wedding day beautifully, but they also made us feel confident, relaxed, and kept us smiling and laughing throughout the day. They truly made our experience with them an enjoyable one!

We received a hefty amount of sneak peek photos a week after our wedding, which was a very pleasant surprise. We received our edited photos and videos less than two months after our wedding and were so impressed with the production quality. Raymond communicated with us frequently after sending us our footage to ask us if we wanted any edits or revisions to be made; we did not expect this level of kindness and personalization.

In summation, I cannot thank Raymond and the entire Passion Studios team enough. They are a group of talented and creative individuals who make an effort to make the individuals they work with feel comfortable and confident—this extends beyond the bride and groom; our bridal party, families, and even guests can attest to this. Working with Raymond and his team has left us speechless. Raymon was all set to do our wedding in 2020 and stuck with us over the years to finally be our photographer in April 2022. He arrived on site early, brought the bride and groom a coffee, and had such a positive spirit that lit up the room. Although we had only met one time in person, when Raymon entered the room I felt like I was seeing an old friend. Him and his team were so kind, professional, had great suggestions but most of all fun. Throughout the day they had to work with a lot of situation and many personalities and dynamics - they handled it with grace. We received some previews within a few days of the wedding and we are blown away by the quality of these photos. It definitely took us a while to find the right photographer: one who had the look/style we wanted, who had the right energy/personality/vibe for the wedding, and was excited to capture this event. When we finally found Raymond and his team, we knew immediately the pictures were exactly what we wanted. Working with them through the planning process was easy and they were always looking for solutions. In fact, we hired Raymond to fly down and take our engagement photos (in San Diego). It was a great way to meet and discover how he works when he's taking pictures. On the day of our wedding, his team were some of the first vendors to arrive and the last to leave. We couldn't believe how invisible they were (I almost never remember seeing them), and yet, looking at the photos, they were clearly everywhere capturing so many amazing moments. The biggest challenge is picking out our favorites - we almost can't believe how much they did! Truly they were wonderful to work with and we are so grateful they were part of our celebration!
