My family was planning a huge family reunion with 75 people attending from all over the country. Our reunion was to be held at the Lake of the Woods in Lakeside, AZ. I had spoken to Adrienne at Party Rent Shop one year in advance to reserve a tent, table and chairs. I had every intention to use this business for all my party needs. With just a few weeks before the reunion, she told me that she wasn’t able to provide the manpower to deliver, set up and tear down and that we’d have to do all the work ourselves.

One of my other family members contacted another local party shop and was able to secure getting the tables and chairs delivered and set up so my guests didn't have to do all the labor! That’s when I contacted Party Rent Shop back to notify Adrienne that I would only need to rent the 20'x40' tent. She became irate and said, “The deal if off, as she does not accept a “tent only” order.” What? Where was that written in my contact? I was never notified of that? We exchanged a few words and the call ended.

I would NEVER recommend Party Rent Shop for any of your party needs.

Talk about an interesting experience. Super hard to get ahold of once you make the deal. Doesn't take Zelle or Venmo, or credit cards only checks and when you send a check and email numerous time to follow up if she received it she tells you mail is slow then never responds after numerous emails. Finally responds after I emailed again about receiving the check and tells me she hasn't received it yet and has rented out some of our items we reserved without calling first to see what happened.
My bride offered numerous ways to pay and she refused all but a check.
This is 2021 and Zelle is free no service fees and instant.
Don't bother trying to call only answers phone 3 days a week for 4 hours. Email is just as bad for responses. We were told we could drop off check but this is a destination wedding and we explained we don't live there.
I have been in business over 30 years and have never had such a terrible experience.
I mean who doesn't answer there phone or answer emails.
We are opening a venue up that way and I will for sure NEVER direct anyone to this company. Renter beware.

This company deserves a negative 5 stars!!! Do anything you can to avoid using this company. Save yourself the nightmare! The lady is an absolute rat!! We rented 9 tables from her for our wedding. Leading up to the event, she was fine. She knew we were coming up from the valley and we were scheduled to pick the tables up on Friday afternoon as soon as we arrived to town. We were a few mins late getting to the shop before it closed at 2pm, due to delays on the drive up. She refused to wait and was mad we even asked her to. We communicated with her that day prior and spoke to her Friday at 1:50pm and told her we were 15 mins out and we were hurring as fast as we could. She refused to wait stating she had a delivery to make. Which was totally fine. I didn't want to delay anyone else from getting items they needed. So we asked if could meet her when she was done with her delivery. She agreed and advised us she would return in 30 mins. We went directly to the shop, to avoid missing each other. We sat there for over 2 hours waiting for her to return! She would not return any of our calls, we called numerous times and left numerous voicemails, and she never attempted to contact us. Finally we called Classic Events and rented tables from them, last minute and had them loaded, in the truck and on our way back to the venue within 20 mins of even making contact with Theresa at Classic Events. The evil lady at this horrible shop then called us around 6 pm yelling and mad because no one was there to get the tables. Unbelievable that someone would be 100% ok with ruining someone's wedding over a 5 minute wait. Upon talking to other vendors in the area, I learned this is common practice for this place. I am not even including the mean, horrible, hateful things she said during phone conversations. To say this lady is rude by far is an understatement!! Completely unprofessional!!
