We went through Party Place for our table/chairs rentals and were pleasantly surprised with how easy they make it for the Bride and Groom. Since we decided to do pick-up and drop off ourselves, they let us pick everything up the Thursday before our wedding and also did not have us return them until Monday. Which, after a DIY wedding, it felt amazing to be able to slowly do cleanup the day after as tired as we were. The product is not the most glamorous with what we elected to use, but easy to cover and very comfort chairs and you couldn't be the price. For 15 tables and 120 chairs we only paid around $200. Will definitely be using them again in the future and would recommend them for other brides in the Medford, OR area.

They were responsive for the most part and very flexible when it came to changing my order several times. The value was great for what I paid. They never told me when they were coming to deliver so we had a slight issue when they couldn't get in the gate, but it was taken care of pretty quickly. They sent me an item that I had cancelled, not sure if I ended up paying for it. My only problem with this company is that they require YOU to clean the flatware and glasses. I don't think people would rent these items if they had the facilities to clean these kinds and amounts of serving ware. All in all, I had everything I needed when I needed it, so that's what really mattered.

It's hard to rate this kind of vendor, as there wasn't a whole lot of person-to-person contact. Some employees were really friendly and helpful, others less so. We rented catering equipment (buffet-style food warmers), plates, silverware, glasses, cloth napkins, and a snow-cone machine. Prices were average for this type of business.

I would recommend calling rather than emailing; emails can take up to a month to hear back from them.

Sorry to not have more details! It was a pretty straight-forward transaction.

I rented a tent from the party place and had a very negative experience. I had heard horror stories about them before, but unfortunately was forced to use them due to the fact that they were the only company to have a tent as large as I needed. I paid $1800 to rent this tent. The venue I had my wedding at has weddings every weekend and has had tents from Party Place fairly regularly. Apparently the tent was set up differently for my event than usual due to a new crew starting. The grass was wet and muddy and the crew laid out the tent on the grass prior to setting it up, making it filthy dirty. Inside and out it had mud on it. I called the company and politely asked them to come out and clean it the next day before my wedding. They said they would. I then asked them when they were coming out to set up the lights we had paid for for inside the tent. The lady I was talking to said we never paid for them. I asked her to again look at our quote to verify that. She proceeded to argue with me before looking at the quote, even going so far as to literally tell me to STOP TALKING. I was both hurt and appalled that they would treat a customer like that. Unfortunately, they did not clean it very well. We were forced to hang curtains along the walls to cover up the mud. The lights we paid an extra $175 for were small and only along the border of the tent, not even close to the amount of light we needed for my guests to even be able to walk around during the reception. We got other lights and hung them in order to have even slightly adequate light. I could not be more upset with the service I received. I paid almost $2,000 and am so disappointed.
