About

Parks Marina on East Lake Okoboji was established in 1983 when Leo “Butch” Parks purchased the then Gibson Sporting Goods. What was once a small fishing boat sales and repair facility has expanded into a diversified three-location business, with marinas, sales, service, storage, boat rentals, pro-shops, specialty retail stores, and now a brand new 2500 square foot event space called "Parks Boat Club".

Parks Marina on East Lake Okoboji also features the World Famous "Barefoot Bar" - your authentic tiki bar in Northwest Iowa! Bring a date, bring your kids, bring your parents, bring friends, bring your pet! Everyone is welcome. Live music and real-live palm trees too! The Barefoot Bar can work perfectly as your casual rehearsal dinner or even a bachelor or bachelorette party!

One of our 9 excursion boats can fit perfectly for a small wedding ceremony, quick getaway cruise for the wedding party, or even the wedding reception. We offer many different venue options at our unique Parks Marina property - just ask!

They gave us a wonderful rehearsal dinner. The food was great and the staff did a wonderful job of making sure we were taken care of, even on a busy Friday night.
