The cookies were absolutely amazing!! They did such a great job with our faces and specific requests. I was really nervous about the taste but they tasted really great (almost like animal crackers). All my guests said they were super cute, funny, and tasted good too!

Ordering was simple and the design team worked with me to get the designs just right. They came out amazing and looked just like my husband and I. They tasted great too, both when they arrived and a week later at my wedding.

I looked everywhere for a favor that was not cheap, tacky or cheesy and something that represented my husband and I . Well, I came across these cookies at Gump's of San Francisco sites, the Golden Gate Bridge, a cable car, the mayor etc. They were similar to animal cookies, but the designs were so detailed and easy to recognize. Then I googled the company to see about buying these cookies and found out he will customize the cookies. We were sold.

We opted for the 6 cookie packet, one of me, my husband, our dog, a wedding cake, a wine bottle with our date and location and a bunch of grapes. It was truly a great conversation piece. Our guests loved them. Facebook blew up the next day with pictures of our favors. We bought extra and passed them out after the wedding to people who were unable to attend and to co-workers.

I am sure we will use Dave's cookies again. They are truly one of a kind and works with you to get the design you like.

Yes, there are two sides to every story but just give me a few minutes of your time. The idea to search for portrait cookies began when I saw beautiful COLOR portrait cookies (NOTE: NOT Parker's Cookies). I began searching for portrait cookies and came across Parker's Cookies. I contacted Dave Parker and placed order in mid Aug 2022. Our daughters wedding was not until Nov 26th 2022 in New Zealand. Dave stated not a problem with all of his experience shipping to diff countries etc. Well let me tell you the problem began in California. Two boxes were shipped and one box was lost in Cali. I notified Dave "Hey look into that as I don't see any movement in the tracking". Dave's thinking was oh the box is probably already in NZ no worries. He sat on this until I contacted him AGAIN! "Dave...still no movement and looks like box is still in Cali...Dave the wedding is Nov 26th. Sorry lost box you need to do something now! He contacts USPS and complains after having to wait for 30 mins. Right there will tell you how unprofessional he is! This is where I want to explain that he is totally hands on until something goes wrong It was all downhill. What he did after finally realizing the box was still NOT moving. He re-ships the same way and oh guess what the cookies DID NOT MAKE THE WEDDING!!! Which I explained to him if you DON'T expedite and spend unexpected company money to do the right thing. Surely you would think he covers these boxes with insurance especially what he charges? He should have done the right thing and expedited overnight! Yes, costly but it was not my fault that the box of cookies was still sitting somewhere in LA. I told him unless you expedite a replacement ASAP it will NOT make the wedding date in time. He has NO experience shipping into the countries that he claims he does. Dave's delayed actions to resolve the issue, especially knowing the date of the wedding event since Aug 2022 and his unprofessionalism should guide you to NOT do business with him. I spent well over $1000! I spent a lot for cookies and he should have done the right thing and expedite the cookies!! He knew the box he reshipped would NEVER make it on time to the event. I knew that as well and gave him a solution to help expedite the cookies. He refused to resolve even with me paying money out to help expedite. It apparently was costing him more money to 1. Reset the press, ship overnight to Planet Express a company that could have helped us get the cookies on time to the wedding. He would only ship one way how pathetic can a business owner be? Yes, this all sounds ridiculous for ONE lost box of cookies and exactly why I am sending out a review to make others aware of his TRUE COLORS!!! There are plenty of other companies that provide the same product and even better in colors. I spent a lot of money and sadly the cookies are so hard. He describes the cookies as animal cookies. They don't stay fresh! Maybe he eats hard cookies who knows. He does not SEAL the cookies and they should be! They tie a cheap very small ribbon that barely makes a bow. Dave is hands on and the reason for that is he wants every cent he can suck out of you! Any other business would have reshipped immediately by EXPEDITING. Dave had the order since Aug 2022. In fact, I placed two orders so we would have cookies here as well as New Zealand as there were many family and friends that could not attend. Now you be the judge and with all that money spent surely he made a huge profit already on my orders. That is NOT the way to treat your customers!!! I will be notifying BBB and writing all the reviews I can so that others are well aware of your true colors, and how unprofessional you are as a business owner!
