About

From The Simpsons’ Hollywood premiere to President Obama’s visit to Vermont, foliage shoots to weddings, Parent Studios has photographed events all over New England.

Annalisa was awarded the Creativity Plus plaque by the Vermont Professional Photographers' Association, awarded to the image maker displaying the most creativity in any category at the discretion of the judges, for her print “Boston in the Rain.” All of her prints entered earned a ribbon and the honor of being hung in the print gallery at the convention.

She has operated Parent Studios since 2003, and only a few years later was selected by the Vermont Professional Photographers' Association as Most Promising Newcomer at their 2008 annual convention. She photographs weddings, portraits, and events. Her award-winning work is available for view and purchase at www.parentstudios.com.

Annalisa provided services for Senior Pictures for our daughter. We chose to have these taken at our house with natural outdoor landscapes and lighting. That means we needed to plan around weather. We selected a date which was later calling for rain. We had already started the rescheduling process when the weather for the evening suddenly cleared and Annalisa was happy to come that night and take the pictures. That showed incredible flexibility on her part.
We also added on a family picture package. The experience during the photo shoots was excellent. She is friendly, professional, and personable. We got a lot of great shots in many settings.
The end products were excellent. There are many options for prints as well as digital media.

Annalisa Parent did a fantastic job as our wedding photographer. We both have big families and it had the potential to be chaotic and confusing at times, but she was completely calm, organized, and thoughtful throughout. She picked out beautiful spots and original angles for our pictures and caught some AMAZING candids that are my favorite pictures from the whole day. She is completely professional and super fun! Not to mention, you can't beat her prices - she will work with anyone's budget.

Annalisa did a superb job photographing my parents' 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise on Lake Champlain. She was unobtrusive and thus captured many candids, and was also able to wrangle our large family into position for group shots. I'm glad I thought to hire her so that we have that event captured for all time. It was a truly special evening.

Annalisa was very fun, energetic and I had a great time working with her. I do not really like to take pictures, but she made me feel very comfortable and gave recommendations instead of demands. All of the pictures came out great and her knowledge of photography accompanied with her professionalism and interpersonal tact made my experience with her very enjoyable!

Annalisa Parent did portraits of our family just before I gave birth to our first daughter (i.e. Mama, Daddy, and baby bump). She composed thoughtful, humorous, and adorable pictures that we treasure. My now toddler enjoys pointing to the framed pictures in our home saying, "Mama!" and "Bear!" when she sees the little white bear in one of the photos of me in her nursery before she was born. Annalisa is a creative, consummate professional, and made the session lots of fun. Annalisa is great to work with and I recommend her most highly!

I had Parent Studios come to my home to take pictures of my daughter with her great grandparents. This was very important to me and she spent a wonderful amount of time working with my daughter and family. The pictures were beautiful.
