Located in the heart of downtown Charleston, South Carolina, Parcel 32 is a historic venue ideal for weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal brunches, after parties, and more. Situated on Upper King Street, it's walking distance to renowned hotels, fine dining, shopping, historic sites, and cultural experiences.

Parcel 32 brings together the best of the old and the new. Housed in an 1837 Charleston single home, it was thoughtfully renovated to breathe new life into the building, resulting in an enchanting setting matching the vibrancy of Upper King Street.

Each space was meticulously designed to create a modern twist on a historic backdrop, beginning with the courtyard entrance. Guests are immediately drawn to the ornate, custom-designed tile floor and lush plant wall. Once inside, you are welcomed into the Living Room, a lounge area with comfortable seating, adjoining an extensive wine wall.

A few steps away, the main Dining Room is adorned with sleek, gold accents and emerald green tufted furniture. An expanded mirror wall reflects the beauty of the space, and the wall-to-wall window opens up to the perfect view of King Street.

On the other side of the first floor, the spacious main bar area provides the perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks, welcome parties, and after parties.

Upstairs, you will find The Parlour, a stunning cocktail lounge that opens onto a piazza overlooking King Street. From the vaulted ceiling and floral wall to the modernized Victorian-era furniture, The Parlour provides a warm, soft atmosphere that draws you in.

November 2023 Wedding

My husband and I just got married at Parcel 32 over the weekend and we knew we immediately had to write a review for anybody else who is considering this venue for their special event. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Parcel 32, Rachel, the chefs and the entire crew. The process of planning an event at Parcel 32 is truly flawless from start to finish, in large part thanks to Rachel. She is an incredible communicator and has the entire process down to a science. When working with Rachel, you always feel like your event is on track and you very clearly understand where everything stands and your next steps. By the time our actual wedding day came, we were completely at ease and able to enjoy every minute of the day, knowing that Rachel was in control and would keep our timeline on track. Beyond the organization and planning process, we also can't say enough about how beautiful the space is, how delicious the food is, and how wonderful and attentive the crew are. Our guests never waited for a single thing - so many people came up to us saying they've never had better service at a wedding. I really could go on and on but suffice it to say - book this venue and you will not regret it! Thank you, Parcel 32 Team! You made our day SO special and we are forever thankful to you.

Stunning wedding at Parcel 32

We had an amazing wedding celebration at Parcel 32. I was looking for a historic home in Charleston to host my small, intimate wedding. I fell in love with the romantic, welcoming, unique and relaxed vibe of Parcel 32 from the first time we visited. I love that it felt like welcoming guests to our home instead of a big ballroom. I also love that the reception took place in different areas of the venue (bar for cocktail hour, dining room for dinner, parlor and veranda for dancing and music). I loved that people weren't just stuck sitting at the same table all night. The decor is absolutely stunning too! It needed minimal decorations because the venue is already so gorgeous! It was very convenient that they did all the food, beverages, and desserts as well as all the dinner ware, glass ware, etc and I didn't have to coordinate these separately. Rachel Starling and the entire staff were absolutely incredible. They did so much behind the scenes that I didn't have to worry about at all. The service was top notch, the food was outstanding, and the venue was gorgeous. The most common compliments I got about the wedding were the venue and the food! I was especially excited about the gelato bar which I thought was a unique offering that not many venues provide. Rachel truly went above and beyond my expectations of an event manager. Things were handled so seamlessly that I didn't even notice something was wrong. Everything was executed flawlessly. She was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding too! We couldn't be happier with our experience at Parcel 32, we would get married there again in a heartbeat!

Perfect venue

Parcel 32 was the perfect venue for our rehearsal dinner and welcome gathering. To pair with the incredible venue, was the amazing PPHG staff. Rachel Starling took the minimal information we provided her and pulled together a fantastic evening where we were able to have both our rehearsal dinner and transition into our welcome gathering. This gave us an opportunity to utilize the wonderfully designed space in its entirety from the dining area, downstairs bar, upstairs parlour and piazza overlooking King Street. It set a great tone for our guests and the wedding weekend with an elegant and southern vibe. The space is naturally decorated with both transitional and modern feels, and all we needed to provide were some small flowers for the table centerpieces, everything else was provided by PPHG. We must say, the guests raved about the PPHG tailored menu and dishes the entire weekend. And better yet, we received endless positive feedback on how great all of the staff was; the bartenders, servers and security were all top notch and professional. If you’re looking for a great team and space to host any event, Parcel 32 by PPHG is it!

Charming venue, amazing staff, great food!

We were so lucky to have our intimate wedding reception at Parcel 32 on 6/3/2022 (we had 43 guests for cocktail hour at the large bar, a plated dinner in the seating area, and dancing upstairs with the other bar and porch). When searching for our venue, we wanted a place that captured the charm of Charleston but also wouldn't cost us a fortune. After looking at many locations, we were introduced and given a tour by Rachel and the rest is history. Rachel, the venue coordinator, is just amazing at her job. The most responsive, helpful, thorough, and all-around wonderful person! She made the decision so easy, as did the venue itself which is gorgeous. They handle so much in house (bar, food, cake, tables, chairs, plates/glasses/silverware, and even helped with linen rentals as well). It makes the day effortless! The food is beyond amazing (both the tasting and the day of- and the extra food they sent us home with), the drinks were phenomenal (including custom bride and groom cocktails), and everything in between ran smoothly. Everyone that came in from out of town loved the location and venue (and food!). Not to mention we got the best photos inside and out. The layout of the venue works perfectly for a cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. I wish we could do it all again! Rachel also let us run with any ideas we had (champagne wall seating chart, hanging a lit last name sign over the swinging couch on the porch) and was genuinely excited to make it happen. She let us drop off some stuff the day before and pick it up the next day which made everything easy. We also added on the American Theatre Marquee for photos and it was awesome to see our names on that. I cannot recommend this location enough for a smaller wedding or any event. Parcel 32 holds such a special place in our heart, now!!

Rehearsal Dinner Bliss

My husband and I initially booked Parcel 32 as our rehearsal dinner venue as it was recommended by our planner, was budget-friendly, and had a beautiful aesthetic. What we did not know at the time was that the event coordinator, Rachel Starling, would be a total lifesaver, expert in her field, and make the entire process absolutely seamless. She was incredible and did everything with a smile on her face. Additionally, the food was unbelievable and service was high-end. This is the only venue in the downtown area that is within a preserved Charleston single home, which all of our out-of-town guests thought was so cool to see. Many of them said that this rehearsal dinner was the best they had ever attended-- and I agree. Parcel 32 was one of my absolute favorite parts of the weekend and if we could do it over again, we would choose Rachel and P32 every time. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our weekend so beautiful and special!
