We had a lovely wedding at Origins and felt extremely supported by the Origins team. We didn't have a super clear vision of what we wanted for our wedding, but Origins turned what little we gave them info something really magical! Thank you, Origins!

The amount of positive things I can say about Kristen and Origins Cafe are endless. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and they genuinely cared how my day went. The venue is unique and gorgeous and we got compliments all night about it. The food is perfection and they accommodated me being gluten free so well. We had a blast and it was gorgeous. Thank you origins!!

We wanted a ceremony and reception venue that would make our wedding easy to plan and special to attend. Origins hit the spot and was the perfect size for us and our 41 guests. Kristen, the co-owner of the venue, was our organizer and she was extremely helpful and flexible as we approached our date. Origins is already a gorgeous venue, but Kristen ensured that all of the finishing touches were there to make the day magical, including styling the potted plants for the reception area. All the food and drinks was delicious, fresh, and made in-house and they were very flexible with our menu to accommodate dietary needs and preferences. We still get raves about the food, particularly about our wedding cake, the carrot cake. Our wedding and reception ran so smoothly and our guests loved Origins as well. We were so happy to share this special place with them.

The absolute best place to get married. I cannot say enough about how special Origins Cafe is. They are SO SO kind and are so skilled at making your vision come to life. Incredible food/drinks/atmosphere/people!

My wife and I got married here a few weeks ago and it was dream come true! The two of us and many of our guests kept describing the day as "magical". I noticed a lot of other reviews say the same thing. There really is no better word to describe how it felt. The food was amazing, the staff were attentive and welcoming, the atmosphere was perfect. I felt so well taken care of and I had basically no stress on the day of my wedding (which is rare). I would recommend this wedding venue to anyone, or if you aren't getting married it is still a wonderful place to get food and drinks and hangout!

We were one of the lucky couples to be married at this magical place.Having our wedding here was by far the best choice for us. Kristen made sure everything was taken care of above and beyond expectations. She had so many good recommendations and is very intuitive, she is so talented and it was easy to communicate our ideas about our vision of what our perfect day would look like. We appreciate nature in everyday life so to be married a place where nature is nurtured to life was perfect . Kristen and her family created an oasis of beauty. Our friends and family were transcended into a lush green garden of trees and plants with the most beautiful flowers. This is a perfect place to start a life of growing together as a couple.

We had our intimate wedding reception at Origins and it was an unforgettable time! Our families were instantly charmed by the beautiful plants, lights, atmosphere, and music when we entered, then again by the lovely staff and delicious food. We felt right at home, cared for, and were repeatedly delighted, noticing the loving details they put into every corner of our celebration. The hors d'oeuvres and desserts were so beautifully presented, especially our wedding cake, it was just perfect. The table setting was absolutely gorgeous and so welcoming. Everyone loved the food, saying it was the best carrots, asparagus, pesto, etc. they ever had. We felt so at ease, having access to alter the playlist and let the night flow naturally in our own way. The space emanated magic in every respect and made our wedding night so special.

Prior to the wedding, Kristen from Origins was so helpful in planning and made me feel confident the staff would put together a beautiful reception, and they certainly did. 10/10 would recommend.

We chose Origins for our Welcome Dinner, as we wanted our out of town guests to feel well fed and comfortable on the evening before our son’s wedding. Kristen and her lovely staff dealt with demanding dietary restrictions and a huge, hungry crowd perfectly. We had so much delicious food, and the atmosphere was positively magical! Five stars!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

As locals to Cooperstown, there was only one choice for our wedding reception-Origins Cafe. Without a doubt they offer the best food in the area-ethnic inspired dishes, with locally sourced ingredients, all made with love. The venue itself is a little oasis within Central NY. Origins is a true gem, they provide exceptional service in a unique atmosphere- the vibe is calming and beautiful and we couldn't have had a more magical day. Thank you to co-owners, Kristen & Dana Leonard and their entire team for throwing us the wedding reception of a lifetime!
