UNPROFESSIONAL, DISORGANIZED, AND FLAKY
I hired Vivian and team for my December wedding reception. Where do I begin with the disorganization and unprofessionalism... Vivian breeched contract on SEVERAL items, including our menu and arrival time. She was 2.5 hours LATE to the venue on my wedding day. The reception started at 6:15ish. The food was LATE being put out, took forever to get all guests their food, and the desserts weren't even put out until 8:45 PM, when many guests had already LEFT. There was supposed to be coffee and snacks during cocktail hour; the coffee didn't get put out until AFTER DINNER and it was in a gross, used-looking coffee pot and guests told me it tasted burned. The mixed nuts had shells in them and I saw some guests complaining about that. Her staff was rude to the bride and were dressed unprofessionally. The food was NOT very good at all; burned sandwiches, stale dinner rolls (which were not even in the contract), and soup that tasted like pure garlic. Yikes. Vivian is nice enough, but she is FLAKY, unprofessional, over-books herself, will stand you and your coordinator up because she forgets appointments, and will breech your contract unapologetically. We were supposed to have panini stations, but there were no stations, only a few cheap looking panini grills. Her staff were so slow and inefficient that at one point GUESTS WERE GRILLING THEIR OWN SANDWICHES. My mom and I have tried to reach out to her for a partial refund because we were so disappointed, but have not heard a word. Do yourself a favor and SKIP "On the Go Gourmet." Worst decision I made for my wedding day.
