Omars food is always amazing, I have never had a bad meal when Omars kitchen catered it. Not to mention that when I wanted something that was not on the menu they had no problem adjusting the menu for me.

Would have definitely done the servers if had to do it over again. Would have assigned someone to pack up the left over food because there was a lot of food that we paid for and that wasn't eaten.

Was told that he was providing cake plates, but didn't because we didn't go w/ servers. Packed up VERY quickly and left.

Food was FABULOUS!! Presentation of the food was remarkable.

Be sure to finalize and make lists of what you want and expect and assign someone to do any extras.

We would definitely use them again.

Food tasting about 9 months before the wedding was AMAZING!

Prices were great for the amount and quality of food presented at tasting!

Servers were dressed professionall, portions were large. We did a pie buffet for dessert and the pies were really good.

Biggest issue-The food was served cold the day of our wedding, which I think is every bride's biggest fear when it comes to the food. This was the largest part of our wedding budget and it was such a let down. It was the elephant in the room for everyone. We asked a few people what they thought of the food. Responses were-the taste was good if it would have been hot.

Small details-We were told we could change the head count until the Wednesday before, that Omar would call and finalize. I called at 3pm since I had not heard and he told me it was too late, he needed the info by noon, so we ended up paying for 8 extra meals.

We were doing a plated meal with salad plates preset. He was only going to come an hour or two before dinner to set tables and the guests would have already been there, so we offered to set the tables. Plates and silverware were delivered the day before and we set the tables (no discount offered for doing this ourselves). To top it off, the dishes and silver were dirty-not just water spots-food residue. It took two people several hours to clean them prior to setting. Then several more hours to set the salad plate, water goblet and silver for each place. I would not have cared in the end if everything else would have went smoothly.

It is so disappointing to me that the food was served cold, after hearing great things about his food from a friend that had him cater their wedding at the same place. Also, he had originally told us at the tasting (about 9 months prior to the wedding) that he would bring his trailer and serve straight from there as our venue did not have a kitchen, to ensure the food being hot. It was not until 3 weeks before the wedding when I emailed him to confirm he was bringing the trailer that he said he was NOT as the electric was not compatible. He said he looked into a generator but it was too expensive. After having the food served as cold as it was, I would have paid pretty much any amount to for the generator out of my own pocket to ensure hot food on my wedding!

When his wife cleared our plates and asked how the food was. We said the taste was great but it was cold. Her response was "it's like 38 degrees outside". We were inside a building, with heat, it was actually in the 50s that day, food was delivered in hot pans, and we are the bride and groom! I could not believe that response!

He required payment the day of, which is understandable. However, not wanting to talk about the food being cold, us setting plates and silver and water goblets and the dirty dishes on my wedding day. I contacted him to discuss my concerns and he never contacted me back.

I am sure in a different venue it could be different, however we were left satisfied.

We went to an initial tasting before our wedding and everything was great! After planning our initial menu and paying a deposit, they were nearly impossible to get any answers from on ANY important questions we had. Come the day of the wedding we were all paid up and the meal was served. Food was delicious but staff were pushy to get us in and out, snapped at us when asking for an extra fork, and quickly packed up and disappeared before dinner was even finished.
Then came the disaster of getting our deposit back. Two weeks post wedding we received an invalid check, brought this to their attention, and they sent another that hadn't been signed. The food was great but all the hassle and disrespect we felt made it not worth having.
