Alise of Sweet Marie Designs helped make our wedding day a dream come true! From our first meeting, Alise was such a pleasure to work with, always very responsive and organized, and mindful of our budget. Alise made the floral planning process fun and enjoyable. She took the time to truly understand my vision, and then used her incredible design skills to bring it all to life! The end result exceeded our expectations! Alise’s talent and passion is something special and we would highly recommend her to any friends or family planning their wedding!

OMG Alise does amazing work! She's also so sweet and easy to work with. Her floral designs are amazing and the bouquets, centerpieces, etc. all came out BEAUTIFULLY! She was careful to stick to my budget and was able to create magic with the pinterest board that I showed her. I can't thank her enough for making my special day magical with her amazing flowers! I love the giant dahlias, delicate English roses and peonies!

I was so lucky to find Alise and to be able to engage her to be our florist. After many unsuccessful attempts to find a florist for my September wedding, I was getting very discouraged and nervious. I surfed through Pinterest for floral inspirations and found several beautiful arrangment images and took them with me to a consultation meeting with Alise only to find out that the arrangements I liked so much were done by her!!! Both she and I were so surprised! She knew exactly what I liked and we communicated through out months prior to my wedding. I wasn't able to witness Alise and her team working on my wedding day but my sister-in-law who was helping me out by overseeing the preparation only had the highest praises for Alise's hard work! I got so many compliments on the floral arrangments, from the garlands adorning the vintage French door behind the altar to the center piece arrangements at each guest tables. The arrangements were absolutely stunning, beyond my highest expectations!!! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone who is looking for an attentive and utmost professional florist for their special day!

I cannot recommend Alise from Sweet Marie Designs enough. If you asked me, or my groom, or my parents, they would all tell you that hiring Alise was one of the best decisions that we made during wedding planning. As my father keeps saying, our florals were so beautiful and tasteful.

We were married in June 2014 at the ACE Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs, California, but we’re from Connecticut. You might imagine that florals were difficult to plan across the country. Yet, not with Alise! We were so grateful to have her on our vendor team, as she is simply fantastic—always processional, creative, organized, and on-point.

Not only was our planning process easy and fun, but the actual wedding itself was flawless. The florals were to-die-for, and I actually cried when I saw my bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bouquets for the first time. Our reception room was also fantastic. Even more fantastic than I could have imagined. While I knew that I wanted white flowers on our tables, Alise had great suggestions to add nuance and detail to our florals and design. She suggested we incorporate greenery, which really made the florals and the paper on our tables pop, and she had fantastic ideas for the different sizes of the florals, incorporating larger and smaller focal pieces, as well as bud vases. The diverse heights and textures of these arrangements was perfect for our aesthetic, helping to create the atmosphere of a dinner table, or an elegant soiree, rather than a traditional wedding with one big vase in the middle of each table. It was so romantic and warm and perfect.

So, again, I can’t recommend Sweet Marie Designs enough. Many parts of our wedding were as wonderful as I expected them to be. It is fair to say that our flowers and Alise’s work on the design of our reception room far exceeded anything that I could have imagined. Hire Sweet Marie Designs! These ladies will not disappoint.

Alise is so talented and an incredibly sweet person! I thought choosing a florist was going to be easy but surprisingly it was pretty stressful for me for different reasons. I met with one florist who ended up being very difficult to get a hold of after our first meeting. I met with another florist who sent me a proposal after meeting that was way over my budget and she had clearly not listened to what I was looking for (I was very clear that I didn't want imported flowers but she included several on her list). I was so relieved to meet Alise who met with me for coffee one morning in LA and completely understood what I was looking for.

I brought my wedding binder to the meeting which had a lot of sample bouquets. We talked about budget, colors, ideas, and she took itfrom there. My wedding bouquet was better than I imagined it could be. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for and hoping for. She completely understood my vision and she surpassed my expectations.

Alise is very professional and was quick to respond to all of my inquiries. I'm so glad that I chose Sweet Marie Designs!

Alise was so accommodating from the very first time we exchanged emails.
Recommended by our coordinator, she drove up to Orange County even though she's based on San Diego and walked us through a casual but professional meeting where she asked us a bunch of questions that we would have never thought about.

Like asking the groom what size boutonniere he was comfortable with or mentioning that there will be 2 boutonniere's for the groom because grooms get hugged a lot and the flowers will get smushed (which they totally did and we were so grateful!).

She executed on our vision of casual, colorful, festive florals through and through. My bouquet was GORGEOUS and the girls loved theirs and various pics taken by guests featured the flowers plenty. They had color, movement, varied sizes and textures and she even brought plastic containers so that anyone who wanted to take the flowers home could (without stealing the vases) we just couldn't have asked for anything more.
