The church was absolutely beautiful for an intimate wedding and Susan was extremely helpful. Received many compliments from family and friends. It was perfect for our wedding day!

Joanne was a pleasure to deal with for the rehearsal & the wedding day.
Such a cute historical church. Non denominational. Great acoustics.
It was the perfect spot for us. Cheap too.

Old stone church was prefect for my wedding. It was small and quaint.
The stain glass windows were beautiful. The organ sounded awesome. Everyone there was very helpful and the cost was reasonable. The only thing is it could get HOT in there if there are a lot of people and if it's HOT outside...since there is no air condition.

Incredible!!! This church, built in 1858, is truly a historic landmark. To give you an idea, this church was used as a recruiting place for the Civil War. Vintage enough for you? It now functions as the Lemont Historical Society in Lemont, Illinois. It is no longer a church. So, if you're looking for a non-denominational location, this is a great option. My daughter and her fiancee were 2 different faiths, and the Pastor from his church performed the service. It's a small church, made of limestone tailings donated by the Brown Quarry in Lemont. This quaint, old church is reminiscent of small New England churches. Is the church in perfect condition? No, but, that's part of the charm. This has vintage, country, rustic, historic and chic all wrapped up! The price of using the church can't be beat, either! Please note that there is no parking lot, only street and municipal parking, so give your guests time to find a place before your service begins. Honestly, you feel like you're back in time. It was perfect!

Susan was so nice! They did change some things around for me several times. They are pretty strict about times so be sure you are in and out by the time you plan for. Once decorated the church is even more beautiful!!!!

We held our ceremony at this absolutely gorgeous church. They have pictures on their site.
I was so thrilled to find a place with stained glass in the right area for so little. It was cool and rainy on my wedding day, but I'm pretty sure the church is not air-conditioned.. that may be a consideration for weddings later in the year!
I have only 2 cons. 1) The list we received from them, as a courtesy, that listed nearby musicians, etc, had more than its fair share of disconnected numbers. 2) The "aisles" on the left and right side of the pews are not wide enough to walk through, per-say.

The Old Stone Church in Lemont was a perfect site for our wedding. You really must see it first hand to see the beauty of the church. Joanne was very polite and helpful. The church has curved pews, which seat up too 100 people and beautiful stained glass windows. Parking was an issue for some of our guests. There is no parking lot, so some guest arrived late due to not finding street parking in time. However, it was beautiful and worth every penny!! (Which wasn't a lot of pennies!)
