Old St. Joseph's Church was the first place I booked after getting engaged. I was born and raised in Philly, so there is no better place to get married than the 1st church in Philadelphia. The church itself is gorgeous. The church has strict rules due to it being historic, so I was limited with the flowers I was allowed to have. I just had (2) arrangements on the alter, but to me honest that is all you need. The church is so beautiful on its on you do not need anything. I brought my own priest in to marry me and husband, but Father O'Donnel with is a Paster at Old St. Joseph's help me acquire all of my documents to get marry at Old St. Joseph's. Father was very responsive and answered my million of questions. I even decided 2 months out to change my ceremony time to an earlier time and Father did it with no issue. I highly recommend if you are Catholic and want a beautiful Catholic church to get married at, choose Old. St. Joseph's Church.

Working with Old St. Joe's made things so much easier for me and my now husband. Finding a Catholic church who was willing to be flexible and host a Friday night wedding without paying an arm and leg was extremely hard. Old St. Joe's was a great option. They were easy to communicate with (they prefer email!!) and the church itself was just so beautiful!! Additionally, the musicians, Normand and his team, were so fabulous, people couldn't stop commenting on the mass itself! This is a great location for those looking to have a Catholic ceremony!
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
