Ladies it is difficult to find a good makeup artist out there, do not try to get someone who freelances like I did. I tried twice once a Macy's and once at Nordstroms, I couldn't get them to call me back or didn't ask for the day off and then tried to double the cost (initally said no big deal I'll ask for the day off, I called a month before the wedding to verify, oops sorry). At that point I was scrambling to find a makeup artist for myself and bridesmaids, I called Oasis spa and salon first because I have gotten massages there before. I went in for the trial run and was immediatley relieved, it looked fabulous. I was very impressed with the mineral makeup by jane iredale, on the day of my wedding the makeup lasted all day and looked like it had just been applied very fresh and flattering. Nothing but positive things to say about Oasis spa and salon.

They were flexible in bringing in an extra stylist on a Saturday morning so do my bridesmaids' hair....the receptionist accidentally booked my practice appointment a few days before as a 15-minute consult so we had to reschedule (it was a little stressful when the few days before the wedding felt like they were planned down to the minute) but they were flexible to fit me in the day before the wedding. I loved how my hair turned out!
