If you want an affordable vegan cake without sacrificing the taste and look, Nuflours is the place. We had a 2 tier cardamom cake with vanilla frosting and sheet cake for the rest of our guests. The staff can also customize the tiers to have different flavors. It was beautiful and delicious!

Nuflours created my stunning three tiered wedding cake and mini pies for my wedding this past August. I have very severe Celiac Disease, as well as allergies to dairy, soy, corn, quinoa, eggs, seasame, and coffee and as I started looking for a baker for my wedding I was disheartened. Almost no one had options for me, and when they did I was told there would be no way to have a three tiered cake, and if I wanted cake, I would have to pick an odd flavor like orange. Luckily I found Nuflours and worked with Kayla. What a remarkable, reassuring and fun experience! I got to do a cake tasting where I tried many different flavors of cake and frosting. I ended up choosing a lemon wedding cake with vanilla filling and lavender frosting. Kayla matched the frosting to the naked cake style I liked and added beautiful lace icing that matched the details of my wedding dress to a T!! I was amazed! I also chose a second cake for the rest of the guests that was vanilla with vanilla frosting and almond frosting. We both love pie and Kayla suggested mini pies as a fun addition to the cakes so we had raspberry, cherry, and blackberry mini pies. The flavors were light and rich at the same time, perfectly moist cake and lovely frosting flavors. I couldn’t believe they went above and beyond my wedding cake dreams and expectations. I thought I would have to compromise because of Celiac and my allergies but no! My gluten free friends and family were so excited to be able to eat cake, and even my non-gluten free friends and family also loved the desserts! Wonderful wedding cake and mini pies for my daughter's wedding. Nuflours were very accommodating in meeting dietary restrictions for the bride (Celiac, so no gluten + allergies to eggs, dairy, corn, soy). Cake was absolutely delicious and design was beautiful! Loved it!

We had Nuflours do our cakes and they were so delicious! I won't lie, I knew one of the bakers, so as soon as we got engaged I knew where our cakes were coming from. We got one in chocolate and buttercream, and one in lemon with coconut frosting. Megan did some beautiful frosting techniques and even decorated the top of the main cake with the compass rose we used in our invitations! I really loved that our guests with dietary restrictions could enjoy the same wonderful cake that everyone got.

Phebe was very friendly and professional and made sure we got EXACTLY the cake we wanted. We were absolutely wowed at our tasting - I am gluten intolerant but my husband is not, and he couldn't believe these cakes were gluten free! The samples were all so good we couldn't decide, so we ordered a 3-tiered wedding cake and one sheet cake to get all the flavors. We got carrot cake (my fav), lemon cake and a chocolate spice cake, and all were AMAZING! Hands-down the best carrot cake I've ever had, GF or not! Phebe decorated the cake with ribbons that matched the color swatches I provided, and put flowers on the top provided by our florist. The cake was so beautiful and so delicious, I don't think our guests even realized it was gluten free. Thanks Phebe! Oh and their cakes are also peanut free, and they can make egg free and dairy free upon request. YUM!

I knew we would be using Nuflours for our desserts from day one.

I have celiac disease, so our entire wedding (aside from the beer) was gluten free. When we booked our tasting I was very excited. All of their cake options were delicious, and I really liked how simple their tasting plate was. I was expecting to have multiple slices of cake laid out for us, in preexisting pairings. But, they provide you with plain squares of their offered cakes, and dollops of their offered frostings so you could mix and match and decide which ones you liked together. Carrot cake is both of our favorite cake, so we knew we would be getting their classic carrot cake as our center piece. For our two other cakes we chose yellow cake with a raspberry buttercream, and a cardamom cake with a honey buttercream. We decided to get lemon squares as well.

Apparently on the day of there was some kind of miscommunication in their bakery, and we ended up only getting half the lemon squares that we ordered. I was unaware of this until later that week when I received an e-mail from the baker who had packed our boxes. She was extremely apologetic, which was nice but unnecessary. We had plenty of dessert, and the fact that we were missing some lemon squares did not ruin the day at all. The bakery sent me a refund check for the missing lemon squares, as well as a gift card to the bakery that I am very much looking forward to using.

I was very pleased with the level of customer service provided. All three cakes were gorgeous, tasted amazing, and were well-liked by even the pickiest of guests.

We got our gluten free wedding cake from nuflours bakery - we went with the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and it has to be one of the best cakes I've ever had! We just got a small cake for cutting, but it was gorgeous nonetheless. Phoebe had us come in for a tasting and worked with us on flavor selection. She worked with our florist to get flowers to decorate the cake. Now that the whole bakery is officially open, I can't wait to try it!

I wish I had better things to say since I think Nuflours is delicious but I was so disappointed with them for our wedding.

We went in for a cake tasting well in advance where we discussed exactly what we wanted with pictures of a very simple, organically frosted, white cake. We wanted it to be pretty plain and small since we had a big dessert bar planned. I called a week and then a few days before we were picking it up to make sure everything was good, I assumed it would be easy since it was so small.

I had a friend pick up the cake for me, when he got to our destination with it I saw that it was all wrong. It was yellow, had a weird stripe pattern on the sides, and unwanted decoration on the top. Since the wedding was on San Juan Island, we had no way to get it fixed by Nuflours. Luckily the vendor doing the dessert bar was able to scrape it all off and fix it. They did not offer us a refund. DO NOT USE.
